Clean open space in front of hotel and big road made it very easy for getting dropped off/picked up with luggage without feeling like you're holding up traffic. Right as we arrived, the doorman was there to open the door and take our luggage - this was a great first impression! All of the staff were extremely friendly and were always available to open the door and made sure we had a ride or directions.
In my opinion, this is one of the best locations to stay in Hanoi - did not book a car once, just walked. Big comfy bed, large bottles of water included, good water pressure and hot water in shower.
great location. great room. everything in walking distance. Disappointed with the leak in the shower, no bar or room service (covid-19, not the hotels fault), and the fridge seemed to be broken. Lobby was great help and gave great support. I would stay here again as we had a splendid time regardless.

I love it entirely but my water bottles in my rood had some problem so i couldn't drink water all day long please consider that change the water bottles..

We stayed for 2 nights for a weekend food-tour with friends. Prime location in old-quarter area, walking distance to EVERYTHING! Beautiful lobby, modern & spacious room (I stayed in Sapphire Room Old Quarter View with a huge window). It’d be nice to have a pillow choice in the future as both of our rooms did not like it (we had a neck pain after the first night).
We chose this hotel due to its amazing location & also as an Expedia VIP Access Hotel. However, there wasn’t any VIP recognition for our bookings. We understood that due to the pandemic, services such as spa, F&B had to be closed, but simple thing such as Premium VIP booking recognition or free room upgrade weren’t also provided. That was pretty disappointing, perhaps they did not remember of being an Expedia VIP Access hotel at all?
Positive: Front Office Agents were very attentive and responsive, often checked in with us for feedback.
Personally I might consider other Expedia VIP Access hotel for future stay.
The hotel's location is excellent, right in the center of Old Quarter, within walking distance to the lake, church and great food. We stayed at Sapphire Old Quarter view with a big window (which was great). The hotel just recently opened after Covid so full services (e.g.: spa) are not fully resumed yet. The towel's quality is not very good (given 5 star property). We were not given any VIP perks which were very disappointing, but understandable because all staffs are new as shared by the manager. Staff are very attentive and always seek for feedback which we appreciated. It's still a valuable choice among other property in old quarter (if VIP access is improved)

4.0 "Comfortable 1 Night Stay"
Room was comfortable and met my needs. I had a Sapphire room with courtyard view, looked over the tops of houses in the area, very common view in Vietnam.
Bed was very comfortable.
The weather and temperature in Hanoi in October is very comfortable and cool at night. Great for sleeping.

The staff here are incredibly welcoming, helpful and polite.
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, especially the beds and pillows.
Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious.
I felt like I was home while starting here.

Comfortable clean hotel in the heart of old quarter Hanoi. Fresh fruit and complimentary snacks in the room. Breakfast is amazing. Really enjoyed our stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Nossa estadia no The Oriental Jade não poderia ter sido melhor. Hotel novo, limpo, bem localizado, quartos ótimo, café da manhã maravilhoso. A vista da piscina no rooftop é linda. Não deixe de conhecer.
Ficamos 1 dia antes de ir para um mini cruzeiro em Ha Long Bay. Como iriamos ficar outras noites recebemos um upgrade para um quarto superior com uma vista linda para a Catedral.
No retorno, ficamos mais 2 noites em outro quarto que também era muito bom.
Recomendaria 100% este hotel.
Wonderful stay. Staff was top notch...attentive and very helpful. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Buffet style breakfast had wide ranging choices and was good. Roof top bar had amazing views including partial of the lake and city skyline. Sunsets were spectacular. There was a devent gym for a hotel but didnt use it. I would most definitely stay here again due to the staff and location. One of the Hop on Hop off City bus tour(2 of them) stops just two blocks down the hotel street...across and slightly down from Lotus puppet theater. Church just around the block.
Good location. Hotel condition is good. Staff services are amazing. And able to communicate in English. Specifically, Ms Jolene was able to help me check on my other day trip booking, etc.
Outstanding hotel, fab location in Hanoi Old Quarter, rooms are clean, service was great and the rooftop bar was amazing for drinks and views over the city! Would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Very good location with lots of shops all around and the main lake nearby. Nice rooftop bar. Checkin staff needed to expedite better, but manager seems to be on it. Rooms are small, but AC works well. Breakfast was fantastic and restaurant staff very attentive.

밤비행기를 타고 돌아가는 일정이었는데, 체크아웃 후 짐을 찾을러갔을때 샤워할 수 있도록 방을 빌려주는 서비스는 감동이었습니다.

The hotel is an oasis away from the business of Hanoi. The staff are really welcoming and clearly care about going the extra mile. The rooms were spacious and clean and managed to block out most of the sound from the surrounding street's (an impressive task).

This property is very well located for exploring Hanoi, the rooms are very clean, the staff are very friendly and attentive and the service are excellent. The breakfast is wonderful. The sky bar is wonderful and offers better views than many other sky bars in Hanoi and the gym is also great ! I stayed here for two nights and the staff were great - they arranged a very efficient airport transport on Tet for me too - when it is harder to find taxis. During my stay in Vietnam I stayed at several Hanoi hotel and this one was by far the best ! Highly recommended!
1. 하노이엔 뷰가 없는 호텔이 많은데 여기는 있어요! Ruby view 4층에 묵었는데 호텔 앞에 훤히 보이는 넓은 창이 있었습니다
2. 방이 넓고 깨끗하며 침구, 청결 다 만족합니다. 큼지막한 욕조에서 여독을 풀었어요.
