Pretty good overall! Very good value considering the price. Not so much going on in the area but easy enough to get around HCMC. Would stay here again.

The rooms are relatively new & modern but the main problem I had, which other reviewers on other sites have noted, is that there is a very bad sewer smell in some of the rooms, especially the larger rooms with a mini-kitchen. I mentioned this to the manager but got no response, this is one reason I did not extend my booking. The location also is not so great unless you have a motor bike or a car.

Building is nice, staff is good too. Location is a bit difficult unless you have a motorbike or car since nothing is really withing walking distance. I stayed a total of 5 days but left because there's a bad sewer smell in the rooms. I was going to return for longer up to a month in the larger apartment upstairs but not unless I could book the room for a day first to make sure it also doesn't have the same problem. They refused so I did not return - too bad.
This hotel is impeccably clean, nice comfortable beds, Air conditioner works great,nice balconies, nice strong wifi signal with Netflix on the tv. The staff was very nice and attentive to any questions or needs that may have arose. I also like that this location is not in the loud central districts. Overall i would definitely repeat staying here anytime in Saigon.

Room was clean and modern. Bed was comfy. Air conditioning was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great experience.

Place was clean and quiet. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Bed was a bit hard for my liking and room is not cleaned on a daily basis during the stay. Also front entrance is closed early so must go through the garage during late nights. There isn’t much in the area for people vacationing.

This hotel is located at a quiet location, noise free for a good night sleep. Had good wifi, nice bed, hot showers. The hotel staff, especially Ms Linh was very helpful as she speaks excellent English. She helped me booked a local tour to Cu Chi tunnel and even book a Grab bike for me to the travel agency located in District 1. The hotel is also walking distance to a big supermart, Lotte mart which is about 7 minutes walk, with surrounding nice food and coffee shops. The only qualms is that it is 15 mins from district 1 and you definitely need to hail a taxi or grab bike to get to district 1. Overall, thumbs up for an excellent stay.
Zimmer in ruhiger Lage, was wir als angenehmer empfanden. Liegt zwar etwas außerhalb aber mit Taxis etc ist es nicht allzu weit ins Zentrum.
Direkt neben an hat ein recht gutes Lokal eröffnet, sonst ist es eher eine Wohngegend.
Sauberkeit ist schlecht zu bewerten, da es zwar recht sauber war aber im Bad und im Zimmer viele kleine Ameisen waren. Gab auch keinen Zimmerservice.
Personal das wir gesehen haben war sehr freundlich.

This place is immaculate! It is unbelievably clean. Everything is in new condition, functioning and did I mention C L E A N. I stayed here for one night to escape District One before leaving Vietnam. It was a great decision. The neighborhood is quiet and the locals were very friendly. The staff at the hotel were attentive and check-in was a breeze. Bed is comfy. LOTS of natural light. WiFi is reliable. Quiet area. There's a restaurant next door which was good. Went for dinner in District 1 and it's about 10 minutes by motorbike which cost $1. The only con was that the shower was not very hot, however the pressure was amazing. Overall it was a great stay and exactly what I needed.
Shinhua Hotel is located in a quiet part of district 7, a bit away from the center. The hotel is new, the rooms spacious and well equipped. Everything was clean and confortable. The hotel staff was super nice and helpful. I felt well looked after and was very happy with my choice.

Vietnam being my first solo trip getaway, i was looking for a decent hotel at a reasonable price. I was lucky to come across Shenhua Hotel which only opened not too long ago and had only postive reviews on all platforms including booking.com. Shinhua hotel is really a gem of a find, with spacious rooms and there’s really nothing to complain about. While the location was away from the main districts where you could find the tourist hotspots, the fact that this hotel is away from all the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City is something appreciate about. Its really 10-15 mins away from the downtown district so its really not that bad. Really enjoyed my stay here!
I loved my stay at Shinhua Hotel! It's very easy to reach - take a Vinasun taxi from the airport. I put the "grab" app on my phone (just like Uber) for really cheap and easy transport all over HCM.
The area is so great, lovely and quiet, and as a solo traveler I really appreciated the feeling of safety here. Huge Lotte Mart very close for supplies. You can get into the city and all main attractions for a couple of dollars, so simple, and worth it to stay in such a great place.
Hotel is so clean, aircon and wifi (and netflix!!) are excellent. Staff and owner are so very kind and helpful. The bed is the best bed I have ever slept on! Lovely restaurant, I highly recommend the food and service are outstanding.
Great experience! Highly recommend this place. It's quite new and clean. The owner Hien is a great guy speaks English German and Vietnamese and shares great tips and recommendations what to do around Saigon. It's a family owned business and you can tell hien put a lot of effort in it to make it comfortable for his guests.

5.0 "Excellent option for Ho Chi Minh City!"
I was planning to stay one night. In the end I stayed 6. I felt really at home in this hotel. The location is excellent. Quiet yet close to the city center. I loved to walk around there. The hotel complex is in a residential area with lots of small cafés and eateries. All very convenient but the best was the staff. They helped with everything I needed in such friendly and caring way that I would not mind to stay there a few months. If you read this dear staff and management of Shinhua, thank you again for a great stay!
