My first indication of a discrepancy between advertised amenities and reality happened before I left my house. The day before I travelled to the hotel, I tried to book their child care service. I was informed that child care just means that they will give me an extra pillow and blanket to care for my child. In other words, no actual child care.

처음 배정받은 숙소는 앞 쇼핑몰 건물 뒷벽이 보이는 뷰였다. 항의하고 추가요금을 지불하고 방을 바꿀 수 있었다.

Love the bar but not the lobby lounge. Though it was located in the hotel ground floor, was told it doesn’t belong to the hotel but the lady manager was so lovely, very good service!

Wirklich nettes Hotel. Leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen! Sieht man aber erst beim 2. Blick. Die Preise hier sind unglaublich gut und es ist auch sicher vor die Türe zu gehen.
Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Had really nice time at this hotel. Mr. Thien upgraded me to one bedroom suite, i khow i made the right choice for the hotel and my money are well spent. The hotel has the victorian style decor, some decorations and some property conditions are outdates but spacious rooms and facilities made up for it. The hotel has its own bridge to cross the beach street and i believe this is the only beachfront hotel in vietnam has it. It lights up at night and it is very nice to cross. It reminds me of Vegas. But what stands out the most are 4 large outdoor pools, especially the beachfront one with its private beach. The breakfast with many choices. The hotel maybe a little expensive but it is worthed. Highly recommended.
We like all the services with good security, we have not thing to complain about.

I'm really disappointed at a 5 star hotel quality. I expected at least a working bathroom but the drainage was terrible and our whole bathroom was flooded after 1 bath. I called for room service to clean & fix, all they did was opening the cap of the sewer in the shower and a few hours after, the whole room smelled like sewer. Room was small and everything was over priced.

I only stayed one night here at the Imperial. It is a huge hotel with beautiful grounds and swimming pools, and right across from the beach. There were lots of families with children around. I was here for business so did not utilize all of the facilities. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent. There is an attached small shopping plaza next to the hotel. There is a pedestrian overpass to get to the beach, so use it - don't try to cross the street (although traffic in Vung Tau is not too bad).
I did not care too much for the room however despite having a balcony overlooking the beach. The decor in the room (old colonial style) was just not my taste. My room had a separate living area with a small kitchen, but it was just oddly laid out. The bathroom was just so small.
Overall, the Imperial is definitely worth a stay as it is one of the more upscale hotels in Vung Tau, especially if you want to be on the beach. Please make sure to watch the warning flags on the beach for strong waves and undercurrents. On the day of my visit, warning flags were up for most of the day.
I like the service and the staffs were great. This makes me want to come back next time so keep up the good work.

It was such a great hotel in vung tau. Room was very clean and spacious. The staff was kind. But the most of all the hotel private pool was awesome. I wish I could stay next time.

We had a great stay at the Imperial Hotel. All the hotel staff provided excellent service. Anthony was always very nice. All in all we were happy with the stay, and plan to come back.

1.0 "Too too too much noisy until 2AM... OMG"
If you want to sleep in quite, you should not choose this hotel. It is really noisy the loud music from the bar just beside of hotel until 2AM. Our family could not sleep well until this time. After 4times complaint, they just reduce the sound but still noisy crazily.
Even though it is 5 star hotel, you do not expect any good breakfast such like the other 5 stars. And, the table and chair in restaurant are very worn and squeak all the time.
I stayed at Family Suite and paid around $700 per night with 2rooms and 1livingroom, but there are only 1 control panel only, so we could not control it each place. Also, it is not good enough, so we feel a little stuffy while we are sleeping.
The manager said that it is new building, but the elevator looks quite old and hot inside. Just blowing only warm wind inside, so we feel stuffy whenever we took the elevator.
The swimming pool looks quite good, but there are a lot of particles inside of water, so you need to take a shower immediately after played in the pool.
Anyway, please enjoy the Vung Tau, if you choose this hotel, but do not expect any good.

빅토리아풍 고풍스런 호텔입니다. 직원들 친절도 좋고 호텔내 구조가 이용하기 편했어요. 다리로 연결된 수영장은 조금 작지만 해변이 꽤 예뻐요. 날씨가 좋다면 붕따우의 재발견가능합니다.
야시장과 쇼핑센터가 가까워서 편하고 좋았어요.

My wife is currently in a wheel chair and we came to Vung Tau to get away from the city and to relax a little. I wasn’t hopeful of the place being accessible and easy, but was amazingly surprised. The entire hotel was easily accessible with ramps and large doorways with doormen to help and to call taxis.
Check in was a breeze and we were upgraded to the residence side of the compound in room R1500. It was excellent and was totally worth the stay.
Breakfast was great, with lots of variety and even has daily changes to break up the buffet monotony.
The pools were all fantastic and the beach club was even very accessible for us, with helpful staff always smiling.
Small complaint that there really wasn’t enough drinking water provided. There are only 4 small bottles. And only 2 were provided on the second day.
