Basic but clean hotel with very friendly staff. Furniture is a little dated and simple, repetitive breakfast, but a cost-effective and comfortable place to stay in Hue.

This is a gem of a hotel with some of the friendliest staff we met in Vietnam . Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant for the 3 nights we were there as very few places open due to the coronavirus restrictions but we really pleased by the delicious food and the choice offered. I would certainly have no hessitation at staying here again.

This hotel is wonderful! The staff is amazing, really sweet, and helpful. The room was large and spacious with a nice balcony and city view. The bed was super comfortable. Their restaurant had amazing food. We ate almost every meal there. I can highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at Hue Sarena Palace. The location was ideal, the food in the restaurant was really delicious, the staff was outstanding. Julia helped us arrange several outings, Mary was a delightful receptionist and all of the drivers that took us on our outings were personable and patient. The staff of the restaurant were very attentive.

When we got to the entrance of the hotel, the bellboy came out and greeted us right away. The receptionist came to us with complimentary welcome drinks and fruit which was great after a long day. The checkin was quick and our luggage was brought to our room. The room was very clean. Overall I would come back here if I stay in Hue again.

The staff were fabulously attentive. The property was clean, had TV operational, with I think Foxtel (check yourselves - we watched movies), breakfast provided gave a very wide choice and delicious. Position of Hotel fabulous for walking and restaurants were close. Of course room service available (used on first night) and went to Serene Palace Restaurant (great) (within the Hotel and where you have breakfast) on last night. They also have clothes washing service and book taxi's etc. Can't recommend more highly.
Great location! Big room with a comfortable bed. Great staff. Excellent breakfast.

The reception staff couldnt be more hellpful and comminuicated in english perfectly. They set us up with a airport shuttle, scooter rental and a hai van pass trip via scooter they were even able to get our bags sent. Breakfast was awesome, central location and clean spacious room

All staff at Serene Palace were so friendly and eager to please. They did a great job of organising things for us. They were helpful and went out of their way to ensure that we fully understood, including things that were out of their control (such as external tours they booked). Hotel is very well located while still being tucked away in a quieter street.

Really pleasantly surprised by my stay here. The bed was super comfy, the room was quite spacious and definitely clean. The location is incredibly convenient and the breakfast was solid. No complaints- thanks for a nice stay!

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was really good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They will help you book a driver to get around to the sites at a reasonable price which is essential if you have limited time -- our driver was excellent. And the location is just around the corner from SinhTourist if you plan to bus to the next city.

Hands down one of the best stays un Vietnam for us. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Location is really convenient and the breakfast is delicious, and so is everything else in the restaurant.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Emailed ahead tour and travel requirements and it was ready on arrival. Room was clean and spacious and beds very comfortable. Buffet style breakfast was very good catering for all tastes. Would stay here again

The hotel was modern and clean. Checking in was super easy and the welcoming refreshments were tasty. Room met expectations on cleanliness, space, bathroom amenities, and storage. Location was convenient; it is located in an alley, but is only a five minute walk from the city center where there are a bunch of restaurants and bars. About a 30 minute walk to the old citadel.

Very comfortable rooms, spacious, close to night life area, yet quiet (a little further from the Citadel).
Friendly staff.
A special mention for the restaurant: great breakfast menu and buffet, very friendly staff. The cook will not have you leave without packed fresh fruit for your onward journey! 👍
Also enjoyed dinner, with a good and refined selection of local foods (recommended by Lonely Planet and Guide du Routard).

Great location, close to lots of awesome restaurants, the night walking road, and citadel. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean but bathroom could have been cleaner, shower had what looked like black mold hence the reason for 4/5.

We had a large & gorgeous room. Very happy with the buffet breakfast. Hotel staff is the most polite and helpful people. This does not come as a surprise; other hotel staff we met were always respectful of their guests.

Good location for Hue, about 1km to 2km from the citadel. Tucked away in a quiet alley which is common for Hue. Very close to food, shopping and entertainment. Very friendly staff. Very courteous and professional, willing to go the extra mile to help you. Breakfast is very good too. Good value for money here and wonderful staff.
