5.0 "A little gem in Hanoi’s Old Quarter!"
Two aspects of my stay with La Cascada stand out. The first being the customer service. Rosie, the manager and the girls, all speak English very well and have a good attitude. They try their best to serve and please the customer. For that alone, I give the hotel a five star ***** rating.
The second aspect, is the way breakfast was served. Each breakfast is cooked to order. Not only a more hygienic system but minimises waste. It is also good for the environment.
The breakfast room, which is on the the top floor, has great panoramic views of the city.
I very much enjoyed my stay in this hotel.
Once you get there past some ancient alley road near the train tracks, the service is 5 star. The staff is so welcoming and accommodating that it beats some 5 star hotels in the US I've been to in terms of customer service. For the price of accommodation this place cannot be beat. While the location isn't perfect it does have the local Hanoi charm and is within walking distance to everything you could want to be near the Old Quarter. You won't regret a stay here.

Central location right in the heart of the old quarter. Super clean .Can arrange a anything you need. Great staff.Ownner on site. Good breakfast. Completely reliable airport pickup. I've been there 3 times in the last 3 months. Get room #608 ..balcony!!

Very amazing superb staff n hotel and the location all is amazing
Cela fait 12 ans que je me rends régulièrement à Hanoï pour le travail. En 12 ans, j'ai été hébergée dans de nombreux hôtels de la capitale.
La Cascada Guesthouse était sans doute le meilleur d'entre eux, pour plusieurs raisons :
- Tout le personnel est extrêmement gentil, toujours prêts à aider, parlent très bien anglais. Tout le personnel est vraiment très sympa : la manager, le personnel de la réception, le personnel du petit-déjeuner, et le personnel de ménage. Ils ont vraiment tout fait pour m'arranger, m'ont aidée à transporter mes bagages jusqu'à l'arrêt de bus le plus proche, m'ont autorisée à faire un check-out très tardif le jour de mon départ, etc.
- Chambre très confortable (lit moelleux, par rapport aux standards Asiatique)
- Très bon petit-déjeuner, très copieux : un plat Asiatique + un plat occidental + yaourt, fruits et boissons (y compris café/thé/jus de fruits frais) à volonté !
- Très bonne localisation, dans une partie du vieux centre qui est restée très authentique malgré l'invasion de touristes occidentaux dans d'autres parties du centre.
Je remercie énormément le personnel de l'hotel pour avoir rendu mon séjour si agréable !
We were thrilled with the lovely arrival reception with welcome drink, fruit and the friendly helpful staff who made sure we knew the best places to go for meals and sightseeing. After a long flight it was lovely to take the lift to our immaculate family room -3 beds and balcony. The shower was piping hot with strong pressure and was very clean.
It was fun seeing the people going past to catch the train from the balcony-which turned out to be a good landmark for us in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, as this is in a very narrow street (you need to look out for signs when you first arrive).
The breakfast was delicious & served upstairs with a view. It was really good to be so close to the night markets and within walking distance to food, bars and sightseeing spots. I can’t commend Rosie, Phio and the other staff highly enough for all their helpfulness. They arranged our amazing tour to Halong Bay and then all of our travel details for Sapa as well as airport transfers when we left Hanoi for Danang. It was really good knowing we could safely leave our extra luggage at La Cascada in between our stays there and even use a room for showering and changing before we took the night train. Thankyou so much for everything you did to make our visit to Vietnam so memorable. I definitely recommend this Hotel.
Good service the staff of the property take care guests very well. I love breakfast here too very delicious

시장이 가까우며 bbq요리가 유명한 거리에 있어 주변 관광과 먹거리가 좋습니다. 골목길 안쪽에 있어 찾기가 좀 어려웠지만 골목 밖까지 배웅하며 안내해주어 진심으로 깊은 감동을 받았습니다. 아침조식의 쌀국수도 매우 훌륭사였습니다. 다음날 크루즈 예약이 되어 픽업을 올 것이라고 하였더니 크루즈에 전화하여 장소 사간을 체크해 주었으며, 주변 맛집과 투어에 대해 많은 조언을 해주었습니다. 하룻밤이었지만 감동적인 추억을 남기게 해주어 감사드립니다

Past reviews of this hotel made me decide to book for my family's 3 nights stay in Hanoi here. Although a tad sceptical, I was hopeful. Rosie, the manager was quick to answer all my queries even before I arrive Hanoi. Because the hotel is located in a small lane which is not easily accessible by cars and busses, she dropped me a message to advise me of a drop off point which is only less than 1 minute walk.
Every single one of the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, always making sure we are comfortable. They made us feel very welcome. The family suite we stayed in is very spacious and clean. This small hotel with excellent service is definitely a place to stay in Hanoi old town.
Strong reccomand.

They had the best breakfast at any hotel I've been to in Vietnam. Not only that but the staff and service is wonderful! They sent me a very informative message on WhatsApp before my arrival.

직원들이 너무 친절해서 정말 만족했음. 늦은 시간에 체크인, 체크아웃을 했는데도 신경을 써주시는 게 너무 좋았음. 하나씩 설명하기 어려울 정도로 친절하다는 점이 굉장히 컸음. 위치 또한, 처음 하노이에 방문했기에 당황스러웠으나(새벽 도착) 관광할 구역과 가까운 편이었고 치안이 좋기에 문제 없었음. 그리고 조식이 정말 괜찮았음.

Vi är så nöjda med detta hotel av flera anledningar. Hotellet ligger bra på en liten tvärgata så är smidigt att ta sig till old quarter via promenad men de ligger lite avskiljes så man hör inte trafiken. Frukosten var jätte god och det fanns mycket skandinaviskt utbud vilket vi gillade med scrambled egg, bacon, pannkakas, juice osv.
Största plusset med hotellet är personalen, de fixade allt åt oss! Allt från att kolla upp resturanger, boka bord, taxi, ge vägbeskrivning, boka och fixa med bussar osv. Dom hjälpte oss så mycket utan någon som helst klagan på oss, och vi var verkligen besvärliga med alla våra ändringar.
Tack, rekommenderar detta till andra!

Bonne situation au coeur du centre ville .
Pour un couple , reserver une grande chambre. Les autres sont un peu petites .
Le petit dejeuner est correct.
Le.point fort est la gentillesse du personnel !

솔직히 큰 기대 없이 이용했는데 직원들이 너무 친절하고 서비스도 좋아서 정말 기분좋게 여행하고왔습니다.
한국말은 안되지만 직원분들이 영어를 굉장히 잘합니다. 간단하게 영어가능하신 한국분들 호안끼엠 주변 여행하시면 정말 추천드리고 싶네요.

The hotel is under construction, so be ready for loud banging that starts super early. Great location on the old quarter. The room and toilet were very clean with two towels per day. Bed and pillow was hard, but I like it, especially after a long walking around. Breakfast on rooftop was nice. Staffs are very welcoming, helpful and uber friendly. Definitely, will recommend and would stay at La Cascada Hotel and travel again.

Amazingly helpful and friendly made my stay lovely. Late breakfast sent to my room, excellent directions to sites. Also a staff member meets your cab to bring you to the hotel door. Market surrounds hotel. What a welcoming place!
