Đầm Lập An hay còn gọi là đầm An Cư, Vụng An Cư hoặc Đầm Lăng Cô, là một trong những đầm nước lợ lớn nhất ở xứ Huế. Nằm dưới chân đèo Phú Gia, bên bờ vịnh Lăng Cô, đầm Lập An mang đến một vẻ đẹp hoang sơ, trữ tình, xứng đáng được mệnh danh là “Tuyệt tình cốc” của Huế.
Vẻ đẹp hoang sơ, quyến rũ
Với diện tích mặt nước rộng lớn, đầm Lập An như một tấm gương khổng lồ phản chiếu bầu trời và núi non xung quanh. Nước đầm trong xanh, êm đềm, soi bóng những hàng cây xanh mướt hai bên bờ. Đầm Lập An, otherwise known as Lap An Lagoon, is a beautiful lagoon located near the small town of Lăng Cô, Thừa Thiên Huế province, Vietnam. It amazes with calm waters and is surrounded by the majestic Bạch Mã Mountains. Want to eat Oyster? So a cheap and fresh choice is in the city of Hue.

For us, it was an unexpected stop. We had a nice cup of coffee there. Afterward, we watched how the oysters were detached and cleaned. It was interesting to see this process up close with our own eyes.For the pearl-lovers, there are some stores there where you can buy jewelry with pearls or jade.

We stopped at Lap A Lagoon while travelling to Húe and were blown away by the beauty and the serenity of the little town. We arrived quite late in the afternoon after most tourists had left for the day, and enjoyed the stunning views and having the area to ourselves. There’s a lovely restaurant and several coffee shops and cafes looking across the lagoon. It would be a very peaceful place to spend a few days.

Very hot and humid. Wear light clothing and prepare to climb staircase. Coming down hill may be stressful if knees are not strong. Under shade is cooling and enjoy the sea breeze

It's absolutely worth coming here! It's full of tourists, but for the good reason that the natural sights are incredible. I did this without a guide, and so i missed out on the story, but you can certainly book guides ahead of time.Even without one, though, you can appreciate the architecture and design, as well as appreciate the beautiful landscape.WARNING! This place is very very hot and also requires you to be able to climb many stairs! It's the same as if it was a major hike. Bring pocari sweat and water!
