This hotel is structurally overbooking their rooms. As a result, we were asked to move to their sister hotel. We checked in at 2pm so most rooms were still available. We declined the room in the other hotel and were allowed to stay in the hotel we initially booked. They were visibly upset that they could not use this room for their overbookings (which were still available online for ridiculous rates).
Not worth the hassle.

Room is small. Location is a bit far from Old Quarters. My room was facing a solid wall. Great cooking for breakfast. Don't mind to stay again for the right price.

Hmmmm, The whole hotel had an unfriendly atmosphere,the hardest hotel bed I’ve sleeped in, the toilet was wobbly and the seat very loose, the shower was hard to control and would burn you if you weren’t careful also no where to escape the water because such a small shower room. The breakfast wasn’t too good either, the staff would hang around and where not very friendly. Quite an uncomfortable hotel experience. The local area outside is nice and right across the street from the hospital.
Great location as it is close to the Hoan Kiem Lake which is where all the activity was. In fact, they closed down the street over the weekend and made it a walking street. The staff were very friendly and Kelvin was very good and helpful with booking my tours and taxies for my entire Vietnam trip whether I was in Hanoi, Da Nang, Nha Trang or Ho Chi Minh City. This helped a lot for me as a solo traveller.

Wonderful from check-in. Very welcoming staff, seamless check in, useful local information given. Nice touches like turn down service and leaving a card with the next day's weather forecast. Staff all addressed me by my name and we're aware of where I was heading to next. Breakfast was great, particularly the smoothie.
Perfect location in old quarter, I walked everywhere from the night market to the lake and all the street food you could want.
Only downer, which isn't their fault, is nearby construction work started at 7am so don't expect to be able to sleep in.
Loved my stay and will highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hanoi.
Nice staff and clean room. The location was very good that close to center of the city.

I was unlucky to have my room AC broke down at 9 pm. I was ready to turn down for the evening but with the AC broken, the room became a sauna for me. I have to deal with the receptionist and bellboy to come up with a solution. They cannot change me to another room as they were fully book. They offer a standing fan while they try to make the repair but they have been trying since I checked in around 4pm. The manager of the hotel was uncontacted after work and I was left with no choice but to booked another hotel room. Hotels.com customer service was no help at all to resolve the problem or find me another hotel. I believe my review now is not at their norm. But I believe no customer should be ask to spend a night in their room without AC. That’s is what the receptionist can only do with the manager is uncontactable. And hotels.com customer service should have tried their best to make a quick hotel arrangement to relocate their customer to resolve an issue like this. Not give you an discount code and ask you to sort yourself out.
Nice location, not a bad price, stuff were friendly and helpful.. hotel is in nice condition for Vietnam and there is breakfast ala carte at morning. Breakfast can be little bit better, and my window in room was like 40cm infront of another wall - so no view at all :D But then Except this there were not any issue. i would recomend it! 8/10

Location is great, very close to Old Quarter and major sites. The hotel looks nice and our stay was very comfortable. Make sure you ask for a room in a quiet area if you are bothered by street noise.

it is opposite a big hospital and really too noisy day and night. Though conveniently located and the breakfast is good, there is nothing much about it due to the noise.

Not great service, booked and was told the hotel was full at check-in and had to stay at a sister hotel next door. Very unacceptable and did not give any prior notice.

The Art Classic hotel & Spa is a Wonderful boutique hotel with beautiful decor rooms, perfect location, great breakfast and SPECIAL is their staffs was cute - Amazing and helpful, they did to help us booked our Ha Long bay 2 days 1 night trip was Excellent service and show the good restaurant, coffee shops, famous place in Hanoi for us. We have wonderful time in This hotel and we will comeback on next time with My family.
We have booked 2 nights stayed at The Art Classic hotel and upon arrival, we booked Ha Long bay 2 days 1 night on Huonghai sealife luxury 4 stars cruise By Mr. Prince was super value and great trip. The hotel located in center of old quarter very close Hoan Kiem lake and some second to Big church and close to many restaurant. Our room was large, very clean, great facilities and nice view, we loved style designed of The Art Classic hotel. DON'T HESITATE TO BOOKED THIS HOTEL.

Great location for the old quarter. Refurbished and fashionable hotel. Staff very eager to please and very competent. Breakfast generous, varied and good quality. Stayed in cheapest room which has no window (which I knew) but was absolutely fine. Good to look at, clean and well maintained. All in all a great place to stay

The Art Classic hotel is beautiful designed with Black color, we loved this hotel. Upon arrival, we booked our Ha Long bay 2 days 1 night tour + Hoa lu - Tamcoc 1 day premium tour + Hanoi city private tour was great value and excellent trip. Their staffs was nice, cute and very friendly with nice smiles. we have great buffet breakfast ( i'm really loved Banh cuon ). BOOKED IT .

We booked a SMART Package 6 days 5 nights with Mr. Tom Nguyen Hoang by Email. The hotel is located in center of old quarter that's very close to Lake, Church, nearby many great restaurants, Coffee shops, Night market and walking streets. We loved our room with nice view and balcony was large, modern, super clean. Our Ha long bay tour + Sapa tour + walking tour was excellent and great experience. We love Pho ( noodle soup ) at Restaurant and buffet breakfast was delicious with many choice. We're surely to recommending the Art Classic hotel to my good friends, our Family *****

Hotel itself was good. However staff seem dishonest, we arrived at 6am and asked if we could do early check-in. In the first place we were told that the hotel was fully booked then once we started looking for another hotel to go to, we were finally offered a room but had to pay an extra night (at full price) in order to check in early. The staff then picked up one of the room keys out of the 3 which were available in front of him. Really disappointing that they wouldn’t be more accommodating.
Sehr komfortables Hotel in wirklich bester Lage innerhalb Hanois Altstadt.
Lediglich die Zimmer zur Straße hin sind etwas laut.

Overall dissapinting hotel OK considering it’s advertised as 4* and Expedia VIP hotel. We were given two single beds put together instead of one double bed as booked. Hotel seemed overbooked as reception was hasty and tried to tell us we booked the wrong room.
