Located in a great location, nearby places to eat and have mini mart around the corner. Walking distances to places of attractions and service staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was limited but yummy. Would love to come nack again when in Hanoi.

It was close to everything. Air conditioner didn’t work. Told the staff about it, was told that they were going to look in to it. Not sure if they did, but the air didn’t work the whole time I was there. I don’t think it was a language barrier, because they wanted me to give them a review of my stay when I checked out, and I told them I wasn’t going to, they wanted to know why, I aid because of the air conditioner not working.
Friendly and helpful front desk staff, but the room had a leaking toilet that put water all over the floor in the bathroom, there was a roach in my room, and the bed had a bulge in the middle that hurt my back and I had trouble sleeping. I guess for what you pay its okay, but I looked at some of the reviews and not sure how they gave it a 10. One reviewer mentioned you could smell the food from the restaurant downstairs which was true and wakes you up in the morning.
I like that I was close to everything. The staff here is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is yummy. What I didn’t like was the A/C wasn’t working as good in my room. Not sure for others. You can book your tours here, it is with the best tour guides, I love the ones I had. Great people!

Es war ganz brauchbar. Das Frühstück ist unterm Durchschnitt.
The staff at The Art Hotel are fantastic. They are very helpful and go out of their way to make sure that you feel comfortable. The facility itself appears to have had some recent upgrades that weren’t quite finished. I would stay here again and would recommend it. The value is very decent. Its location is within walking distance of many attractions.

I had to leave this Hotel after I found a better one: 1.there is no Spa, its a fake spa. 2. the smell of the cooking coming from the kitchen downstairs dispersed every early morning into my room (6.Floor)and woke me up 3. very noisy due to the lift just nearby my room.
4. there is no window in the room!!! so you can imagine how one will feel to have stayed in that room and they could not offer me a different room when I asked for.
The staff is very friendly.
I would like my money back as I have been badly lured in by the advert its a "Spa Hotel".
Hannah was very helpful and arranged a ride to Halong Bay last minute. Super friendly!

Did not actually stay here as my itinerary changed. Tried to have hotel.com help me move my booking to a different date and neither the website or the hotel were any use in helping me and neither got back to me so I had to book another hotel and have this completely go to waste.

구글맵 리뷰가 너무 안 좋아서(오버부킹하고 다른 곳으로 보냈다는 등..) 걱정했지만, 새벽 도착 비행기라 잠만 잘 곳이었기 때문에 그냥 예약했다. 예약직후 호텔에 새벽에 도착하니까 방 꼭 킵해달라고 메시지를 보냈는데, 한참이 지나서 겨우 답변을 받긴 했다.
그리고 호텔에 새벽에 도착했는데, 호텔 불이 꺼져있고 문이 잠겨있어서 당황ㅠ
두드렸더니 로비에서 자고있던 여직원분이 일어나서 문을 열어줬다. 체크인 가능시간이 새벽까지긴 했지만.. 좀 미안하긴 했다;;
그리고 안내받은 방은.. 1층? 엘베 옆;;;;
들어가보니 쪽방? 골방? 뭔가 객실이라기엔 직원들이 쓰는 방같은 느낌;;;;
방도 좁고(일본 비지니스호텔 정도 크기) 벽에 크랙도 많고 뭔가 깔끔하지 않은 느낌이었다.
게다가 충격적이었던 건 화장실 문이 투명 유리문이라.. 변기에 앉으면 보인다는 거.... 샤워실은 안 보이긴 하지만... 하 그래도 변기..ㅠㅠ
새벽에 도착한지라 다음날 아침 늦게까지 자고 싶었지만, 지하의 조식 식당에서 올라오는 음식냄새에 잠이 깨버림.
슬슬 준비하고 내려갔는데, 먹을 게 정말 별로 없긴 했다.
직원분(새벽에 로비에서 자다가 체크인해준 그 직원분ㅠ 제대로 잠도 못 자고 또 새벽같이 조식 담당이더라ㅠ 힘들겠다ㅠㅠ)이 자리로 메뉴판을 가져다주는데, 기본적으로 오믈렛, 에그스크램블 등의 메뉴를 선택할 수 있다.
선택한 메뉴는 사진과 매우 다름 주의...
그래도 대충 먹을 만은 했다.
일단 체크아웃 후 짐맡기고 시내를 돌아다니다 오후에 짐찾으러 왔는데,
직원분이 우리가 묵었던 방에서 쉬다가 나오더라... 음....
워낙 저렴하고 위치도 괜찮아서 잠만 자기에는 나쁘지 않았지만, 푹 쉴만한 호텔은 아닌 것 같다.(다른 방에서 묵었다면 어땠을지 모르겠지만)

I stayed room 101 at ground floor.
so, noisy someone chatting (including staff) at robby.
and smelling cooked flavor from next building and underground restraint.
room cleaning is everyday not perfect.
BUT always staff is sweet.
location is sooo good.
It was so nice hotel overweight the weak points!!!
We walked into hotel art due to our original hotel in the old quarter cancelling last minute. The staff from the hotel art was really accommodating and got us a room. hotel was clean with nice cooked on order breakfast. Rooms were nice with good size shower which was nice. Overall great hotel at fair price

So maybe I should have read some more of the reviews about this dodgy hotel. After staying in backpackers and home stays I was looking forward to a nice relaxing modern room like in the photos... However I was given the similar sob story as per other reviews. I arrived to the hotel and everything looked nice I was given a welcome drink and told to sit down where the staff said about how my room had been booked because of blah blah blah but not to worry because I had been upgraded to a better room in their sister hotel. I was walked around the block down an alley where an old hotel was and I was taken to my room there which was very old and not very clean. Apart from that I slept there and left the next day with no problems but it's not the hotel I paid for so don't expect what you see when booking here..
1.0 "WORST LIVING HOTEL IN HANOI, BOOK IT, YOU REGRET "
this is the worst living experience no matter which country i stay in. I checked in around 7:30pm and the counter told me that the pervious tenant had a problem so i have to wait until 00:00am to get inside my room. the only thing the know is only saying sorry without doing anything. i ask them to call the manager and he told me the manager is off work. so is that my problem now?they didn't ask the pervious tenant to pay and i lost my rights of living there even i pay for it. the next day, the counter ask me to check out before 12:00pm, i said the situation yesterday, and he told me to pay if i don't leave before 12:00pm... wow, i then ask him to call the person who take charge last night, so he then agree to let us stay until 2:00pm. What makes things worst, 10/26 my friend came to hanoi and saw this hotel on the net and wanted to book here. I told him the situation i had last time, he said it won't be unlucky this time. Guess what, i booked two single bed around 3:00pm , the hotel agreed my accommodation needs, and when i check in , i found it was a double bed. I go downstairs to talk about it, and it was still the same guy who can only say sorry and do nothing. He is saying sorry to another French couple who booked also online but canceled their request after the arrived the hotel. The guy who only says sorry blame it to us because we book the room too late, their employees who clean the room is work off, so no two single bed for us. I said deal with it, he finally upgrade
Small Boutique Hotel in a good location. Friendly personnel, quiet room, good breakfast.

Other than the location was pretty convenient for local sightseeing and the variety of choices provided for breakfast, everything else was not as you may expect from the photos and reviews. Requested from the hotel a new room , was assigned to room 101 which is the only room located on the lobby floor. In the night, you could hear I believe is rats or pest crawling sound . The double bed was formed by 2 single beds hence there was a GAP in between and the bed was hard rock . There’s stains on the sheets and I’ve to use my own clothing to wrap around the pillow as it feels and looks dirty. Staff there were helpful but with the wrong intention I Guess. On the day of departure , I was told by the hotel staff that they can provide me the same price as per grab quoted . Never did I know that they added another service charge in the total bill . Though the amount was not a huge one , but they could at least have informed me beforehand instead of promising that it will be the same price as grab.
The staff was very welcoming during the check in, but tried to persuade us to use their tour services rather aggressively which made me quite uncomfortable. Also later, when we booked a ride at the counter, a male worker was scolding another female worker right in front of us. This was very uncomfortable.
The room itself was quite dirty, there was dust and spiderwebs and the sheets were definitely not clean. Our window was directly facing a wall so we had no sunlight. The soundproof is also not good.
Simple maintenance of the hotel was also lacking. Many lights were flickering or not working, our fridge did not work and there was a dead cockroach in the hallway for HOURS. The breakfast was very disappointing too.
Overall, would not recommend.
Excellent location great staff. Good buffet breakfast with main dish cooked to order and good variety to pick from exceeded stars in delivery

My worst hotel experience ever.
The room was nothing like the picture provided, it was pretty warm and the aircondition was not working properly at first. When I informed the reception he came up and was so rude. He tried to make me feel as if I was being unreasonable and spoke in a very condescending manner.
The balcony door couldn’t lock, the safe didn’t work and the shower was so weak it took nearly an hour to wash my hair.
I chose this hotel because the room had a balcony but the balcony was about 18 inches wide.
On the day of check out, my business partner came to pick me from the hotel and as he couldn’t find it, I passed the call to the front desk to assist him to locate the hotel. When I got into the car he asked me why the person he spoke to was so rude. It was just his manner and he didn’t make the guest feel comfortable at all.
He shouldn’t be manning the front desk if he is not able to communicate in a friendly manner.
Only the rooms are air conditioned the passage ways are extremely hot and was sweating profusely whilst waiting for the lift.
Not cheap at USD 75 per night. It’s not even worth usd 10!
Utterly spoilt the entire trip.
On arrival we were greeted by a lovely man , who gave us refreshments, he informed us that our room was no longer available as the previous family needed to extend their stay. He said he would put us up in a sister Hotel, the Kings Spa Hotel and he carried our bags to the new hotel. Unfortunately, we did not get any sleep, the floor was glass and the lights from the room underneath were on all night and kept us awake until 3am, we could also hear every word that the men Im that room said, it was as if they were in the same room as us, so we were unable to sleep. We were also woken up by Loud drilling by builders at 6am. So in total we got 3 hours sleep. If I had not been in such a hurry to leave for a bus trip I would have complained and got my money back
The staff here were very rude. We felt harassed after we were repeatedly asked to pay a crazy amount for a taxi as well as told we should move to stay in the other hotel they owned. This made us feel very uncomfortable combined with the angry tone we ended up booking somewhere else to stay.
