When I arrived the receptionist “Ming” I think his name is, told me my room has some issues and they needed to put me in a DIFFEENT hotel. They took me to another hotel that I was no satisfied with and cheaper than what I had paid for with their hotel. When I told ming about this he said he would come get me from the hotel the next day, upgrade my room and I could speak to the manager. The manager never arrived the next day, Ming never came to get me so I spent hours trying to find the hotel (I arrived at night so when I was takin to the other hotel is was hard to see exactly where I was going) and also supposedly I was upgraded but he never let me see the difference in rooms.
The WiFi here was also horrible . They put me on the 6th floor with one hotspot on the first floor

일찍 체크인을 하러 갔는데도(오후 12시 전) 오버부킹이라고 말씀하셔서 호텔에 묵지 못했네요....
예약을 일찍 했고(1~2개월 전 예약), 체크인까지 일찍 했는데 오버부킹이라고 말씀하셔서 굉장히 당황스러웠습니다..ㅎㅎ;; 하노이 도착하고 첫 일정이어서 다른 일정들 때문에 따지지도 않고 다른 호텔 방 체크인 해주신다고 해서 알았다고 했는데 굉장히 후회되네요~
같은 급의 방을 업그레이드 해주겠다고 다른 호텔로 안내해주셨는데, 그 호텔이 너무 지저분하고 오래된 호텔이었어요. 침실에서 작은 바퀴벌레들도 나왔구요..ㅎㅎ 문도 잘 안 열리고....같은 급의 호텔도 아니고 방을 업그레이드해주신 것도 전혀 아닌 것 같아서 좀 실망스러웠네요.
더 아트 클래식 호텔 로비의 분들은 굉장히 친절했습니다. 방 컨디션이 괜찮고 직원들이 친절하다고 해서 더 아트 클래식을 선택했는데 숙박을 못해서 아쉬웠네요.
이번에는 호텔에 묵지 못했지만 만약 다음에도 이 곳을 예약하게 된다면, 호텔에 묵어보고 싶네요~ㅎㅎ

When we arrived they actually walked us over to another hotel, so we didn't even stay at this one. The hotel they put us in looked a lot different. The shower was broken so I had to hand hold the shower head the whole time and then when the temperature dramatically changed it burnt my hand that was holding it and and out of reaction I hit my elbow so hard I thought I broke it. The location is really great and close to a lot of things and staff were friendly but I would not stay again.
Staff are very friendly, helpful.breadfast was great. Value for money. But the shower did not work well. And the room in 4th floor, toilet area super smelled.

Parties communes (hall d'accueil, ascenseur, couloirs et salle de petit-déjeuner) glauques, mal éclairées. Les peintures ont besoin d'être refaites.
Environnement de l'hôtel sale et bruyant, mais proximité de la cathédrale et du lac.
Chambre et salle d'eau très corrects.

Nothing can be perfect and you are not supposed to expect 100% for anything.
This hotel met my minimum needs of what I paid.
There was a welcome drink,which was surprising.
There was also a door person.
The room faced to a big street and that made a bit of noise.
Room was clean enough. The top shelf of the shower room was hanging from the wall.
The drainage of the shower room was poor.It took several moments to be fully carried out.
The hotel was nice and clean and worth the money.

Positives- Very clean hotel and staff were helpful. Great with directions to help you get your bearings. Nice to have bathrobes. Cooked breakfast was lovely. Staff looked after or bags after checkout so we could fill in time before going to the airport. Good location close to the lake.
Downside- the hotel itself needs some upgrading. The first room we were given had an airconditioner that was not working (red light and after 10 min the room was still hot and stuffy). We were given another room but the mini fridge was very noisy. At this point we were too tired to care. The fridge tried its best but died during the night on our second last day.
The orange juice at breakfast tasted like cordial. Not sure what that was about.
The photos on the website are not accurate but that said many hotels in the old quarter could be accused of the same thing. Art deco was a bit of a stretch.
절~~~~~~~~~~~~대 가지 마세요. 오버부킹을 상습적으로 받는 호텔입니다. 저는 일부러 방이 없을까봐 스위트룸 시내 전망의 방으로ㅋㅋㅋ 예약했는데 방이 없었고요. 매니저가 자기 시스터 호텔로 가달라고 하더라구요???? 그래서 그냥 그 자리에서 숙박을 취소하고 환불받겠다 요청 했습니다. 그런데 귀국하고 나서도 환불이 되지 않았네요. 익스피디아를 통해 환불요청을 했으나 호텔과 전화연결이 잘 안된다고 합니다! 호텔이 전화연결이 안된다니 말이 되나요? 호텔의 기본인 전화도 안되는 걸 보면 호텔이 아닌가 봅니다^^!-> 사진에 속지 마세요. 사진은 넓고 예쁘게 찍었지만 있는 방은 작거나 창문이 있어도 벽이 보이는 방 뿐입니다. 이 호텔 진짜...... 사기꾼입니다...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 별 한 개나 줘야한다니 환장합니다. 제발 한국 사람이라도 가지 않았으면 하는 바람이네요. 제발 가지 마세요^^
NEVER GO~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a hotel where overbookings is regularly received. I intentionally reserved a room in the view of the suite, but there was no room. The manager asked me to go to his Sister hotel and I asked him to cancel his stay and get a refund. But I didn't get a refund after I returned home. I asked for a refund through Expedia, but the hotel is not connected to the phone! Does it make sense that the hotel is not connected by phone? I guess it's not a hotel because it doesn't even have a basic phone call. Don't be fooled by the picture. Though the picture is wide and pretty, the room you take is small or you can see the wall even with a window. I'd rather go to another hotel.
This property was good. The air conditioner wasn’t the best, but we were really just staying the night until leaving on our next leg of our trip. Fine place to stay, especially compared to other prices in Hanoi. For the money, I would stay here again. The people were great and the breakfast was great.

Nice location - convenient for shopping n food yet not too noisy. Booked a room with window but was given a room looking out at the backyard which was unpleasant. Asked for a room facing the main road, had to pay extra USD13 per night! Breakfast was good, staff nice n helpful.

We booked 2 nights at The Art Classic hotel & Spa and After email to sale manager Mr. Tom Hoang, we booked a Smart Package tour as Ha Long bay 2 days 1 night on Huonghai sealife 4 stars cruise + Sapa 3 days 4 nights trekking tour that's was fantastic arrange with great experience. Our room at The Art classic hotel was nice, large, good view and very new. And more than, the staffs of The art classic was perfect, very cute - beautiful Vietnamese girls. We will comeback on next trip.
Our room was very cute with lovely decor, comfortable bed and nice city view. We're also booked Ha Long bay 2 days 1 night package with hotel that was great tour.

We was 1 night at The Art Classic hotel & Spa and Upon arrival, we booked a Premium Package as Ha LOng bay - Baitulng 2 days 1 night + Sapa 2 days 3 nights tour by Mr. Prince was very excellent and great value. Our room was large, nice view, very clean, new - great facilities. In morning, we have great breakfast too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND WITH A HEART ^^^^

We stayed for a total of 7 nights in the art classic hotel. It was our first time in Vietnam. The hotel is great in value - breakfast was good, bed was comfy and there is also a spa.
The highlight of this review is Hoang - He was the Guest Services Supervisor who checked us in. From giving us very clear instructions on getting around, the hotel offerings as well as places to visit and dine in the old town, Trang warm
hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. She never hesitated to go out of her way to assist us or even if it’s just to check on us when she sees us in the lobby and ask us about our day out in Vietnam.
Good place to stay in the old Quarter. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Friendly staff, clean and modern hotel in a great central location.
The pictures online are much nicer than the actual property itself. I arrived to my room and it felt like I walked into a moist concrete box with no airflow. It just felt gross, add the scuff marks on the walls and other minor flaws it left me feeling unimpressed especially for the price point. Once I sat down on the bed and saw a few stains on the comforter I booked a new hotel the next day.
Recommendation to Staff: The linens should be examined more closely. Simply put if there is a stain on the bedding they should no longer be used. Placing a fan in the room before a guest checks in may be wise for the rooms with limited ventilation and lastly a fresh coat of paint goes a long way.
Having stayed in 2 other hotels in Hanoi, this by far was the worst hotel my family stayed in Hanoi, if not the worst ever.
The customer service was extremely lacking, the breakfast options were few, and my room’s shower drainage didn’t work nor did the heater in the cold Hanoi winter of 40s F degrees. When I complained about the entire bathroom being flooded with water, the most that they could offer me were towels to soak up the mess.
The walls were dirty and in deteriorating condition and we felt uncomfortable, especially with the loud noises outside throughout the night.
Overall, I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
