1.0 "Do not stay at this hotel! "
Terrible hotel - the most disappointing four star hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Horrid food served by bad staff. Room not even cleaned one day - the following day it was barely touched. I don’t think Hotels.com should be allowed to market this as 4 star - it’s misleading marketing and can ruin a holiday.
C'est la 2ème année que nous venons profiter de cet endroit pour 10 nuits.
C'est notre petit coin de paradis, la chambre est spacieuse, lumineuse et confortable. Le lit est probablement l'un des meilleurs dans lequel j'ai dormi!
Buffet petit-déjeuner excellent, choix très varié. La seule chose que je peux suggérer concernant le pdj concerne les horaires. Si seulement l'horaire pouvait être etendu jusqu'à 10h30..:) Nous aimons profiter de la grasse matinée :) Qui vient petit-déjeuner à 6h30 ici ?
Le spa est un régal, personnel qualifié et ambiance zen.
L'espace pool est incroyablement agréable. Dommage que certaines personnes s'adjugent des transats ou des cabanes en laissant leurs affaires et en partant pendant plusieurs heures... le pool staff devrait jeter un oeil aux transats réservés mais non utilisés et les remettre à disposition au bout d'1h.
Le service en general était très bon, personnel très accueillant et attentif.
Nous reviendrons encore avec plaisir.
There were things which were amazing, yet others, disappointing.
The positives, the hotel, room and actual swimming pool with swim up bar.
Yet the negatives, the food, which was not great quality. And the fact that there was not a single free sun bed around the extensive pool, past 8am. Who the hell gets up at 8am on holiday just to reserve a sun lounger?!?
For us, this really let the place down.
The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained, but unfortunately the service we experienced during our 4 night stay was very disappointing. Although staff are friendly, customer service was reactive rather than proactive, which is a real shame. We weren't greeted at The Kitchen the first evening we ate there, which left us walking around awkwardly and aimlessly, trying to figure out protocol. During the buffet breakfast, we had to ask for cereal bowls as they hadn't been replenished. We experienced very slow (verging on being ignored) service at the Pool Bar, The Shack and Ola Restaurant. This is just a few examples. I would have loved to write a glowing review, as the staff are so lovely when you have their attention; but there is room for improvement, and taking a proactive approach to customer service should be at the forefront.
Good place to stay. I’d recommend this. There’re no bureau to put your laptop on. People needs to check or sending email sometimes.

I think the hotel is a little bit overrated. For 4.5 star hotel, I think their shuttle bus service is incomprehensive and cannot cater to guest's needs. I have already given my flight details and I expect they will arrange the pickup for me. However, when I arrived at the airport, I was noticed that I am too late for the shuttle bus and I have to take a taxi to go there. The same things happened for their shuttle bus service to night market. Moreover, the facility's information is not enough and I don't even know what activities they organize for fitness and everything has to be booked. Third, the view of the hotel is not as beautiful as shown in the photo coz there is a construction site near the surroundings which destroys the beauty of the hotel. However, the staff are helpful and friendly and I still enjoy the holiday in the hotel. But I would think this hotel is just under my expections.
Beautiful setting with gardens, pool and private beach. Room was lovely and then food was great.

I and my family love the resort!! So clean, smell good at every corner of the facility. The staff are superb!! Breakfast buffet is worth it!

Größe der Anlage ausreichend um Ruhe zu finden und gleichzeitig nicht völlig alleine zu sein. Schöner Pool. Klasse Strandabschnitt. Strand ist sauber und wird auch dank eines Netzes im Wasser von antreibenden Müll etc frei gehalten. Viel verschiedene Liegen und Matratzen mit ausreichend Schattenplätzen am Pool und Strand. Gym gut und ausreichend. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Internet könnte etwas leistungsstärker sein, aber langt zum chatten und surfen. Bis zur Stadt dauert es mit dem Taxi wenige Minuten und kostet gerade mal ca. 100.000 Dong. Restaurants im Hotel gemütlich und qualitativ gut. Abends des öfteren Live Musik, welche im Hotelzimmer kaum bis gar nicht hörbar sind.
Perfet stay in paradise. Attentive staff with good facilities and rooms. Nothing to complain about and we will definitely come back

It was my first time visiting phu quoc. And I chose Sol Beach House, glad that I’ve made a right choice. The room is spacious, furnitures seems to be well maintain. Area is quiet which I really like it, this is what we need when going on a vacation. I really couldnt fault a thing about Sol Beach House, if I have to say 1 will be my room has no shower gel.

Super trevligt rum och frukostbuffén var fantastiskt!
Bra läge, enkelt att hyra mopeder så man kan ta sig runt ön.
Hjäpsam och jättetrevlig personal.
Härlig pool och "privat" strand.
Den enda som jag kan kommentera på är att det var ont om klädförvaring men annars har det varit toppen!
Rekommenderar starkt!

We have a very comforable stay af Sol Beach hotel.
The hotel shuttle bus to the downtown night market is more trouble , because it requires a reservation to use one day in advance.
Airport shuttle service hours are also difficult to use.

4.0 "Great resort, poor location"
Lovely place to relax in Phu Quoc! We loved the pool bar, however you have to be quick to get a seat by the pool as most people seem to put their towels there and leave for a few hours. Buffet breakfast was amazing, and so was the Shack restaurant! Only fault would be the location, not being near many restaurants or convenience stores - and we had to pay for a taxi each night as the shuttle bus to town would be full (even when booking a day in advance!). This kind of made us eat at the resort for almost every meal unfortunately.

Je moet er voor zijn, niets fout maar ook niks wauw!
Eten gewoontjes, mooi zwembad, schoon strand. Bij inchecken proberen ze een upgrade te verkopen, ook al hadden we al een betere kamer geboekt. Engels was moeilijk, bleven proberen om upgrade te verkopen, irritant. Uitendelijk als excuus een fles wijn gekregen maar in een all inn is dat nogal raar, ni waar.... Meisjes in restaurant heel vriendelijk.
