Large spacious rooms for our family of 4. Great location close to Lake. Breakfast was ok. There was a cockroach in the kitchen. There were old socks under the bed. The shower leaked badly all over the floor in the kids bedroom. The walls were thinking and you could easily hear neighbours.

The hotel is centrally located in the midst of the old city where all actions take place. Its close to the lake and all amenities around. The draw back is that the noise is lowed especially in the morning, since the rooms have no sound barriers.
Staff are very polite and very helpful and ready to help . I booked a cruise in Hai Phong and a couple of other day trips using the hotel reservation staff. Huong is an excellent member of the staff and speaks well in English and usually tries her best to help.
When I checked in, the shower was not working, nor the fridge. Eventually the problems fixed.
Food was nice and good quality.
Facilities at the hotel are not bad.
Nice 3 star hotel in fantastic location. Few minutes walk from the lake, the night market and all street food and bars!

The staff were great and location was perfect with easy access to eateries and shopping. The let down was the room being small with the bathroom poorly finished (loose bath and leaking water).

Service was amazing. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. There’s a pool which is nice for the option in the heat. It’s a little expensive for the area but otherwise great.
stayed at the silk queen for 6 nights
two nights longer than i was ment to but that was just due to a change in my trip
the staff were so nice and friendly and willing to help in any way they could
the bed was one of the most comfy beds i have ever slept on in any hotel around the world
i would come back just for the bed alone
they have everything you need from a spa to a roof top pool to cool down after a long day

We stayed at the Silk Queen Grand Hotel for 4 nights in an Executive Twin room.
The room was simply furnished but very comfortable.
Our bathroom had a great shower, but there was very little room around the basin to store your toiletries.
There is a pool on the roof with a few lounge chairs. Not a huge area, but it’s great to be able to have a swim on a hot Hanoi day. They have a toilet and shower up in the pool area too. There is a small gym with a couple of treadmills a bike and a stair climber.
The breakfast was nice. The options were almost the same every day. There is an egg station where they will cook eggs to order.
The location is sensational, just 2 blocks from Hoan Kiem lake and a short walk to the night market, lots of restaurants and shops.
The staff are very friendly and we enjoyed our stay here.
Great location very close to lake. Service very good. One complaint is that the fridge in the room does not cool your drinks at all. Pool a welcome relief after a hot day. Would definitely recommend.
