The room is dim, gloomy and you might hard to find something, such as, if you leave something in the room and ask hotel to find it, it will not be found by anyone who work in hotel.

What concerned us was the social distance and observed hygiene with the breakfast buffet. Too many people in small space, kids running and guests talking above the food and touching plates, food etc. We were not comfortable.

Overall experience is terrible but I would just say neutral. I guess besides us, only two other couples were staying in the hotel so they completely shut down the air conditioner, the staff was friendly and tried to fix it for our second night but the first we could not sleep as it was freaking hot in our room. I picked this hotel over couple of other for their pool but they shut that down too under maintenance and there was no email notification so I could change my reservation. The breakfast buffet is overpriced for the variety of food we got. Overall we had bad experience and would not stay at this place when we go back again
Hotel and their service were good except for the bed which I felt is too hard. Stayed in quite a few Novotel properties before but this time the bed is too hard for me.

Une chambre magnifique mais le lit moyen car qu'on s'assoie, il grince, on s'allonge, il grince et qu'on on dort, c'est pareil
. Ce n'est par un bon lit pour un Hôtel de 4 étoiles. A part çà, impeccable avec une vue sur le beau parc.

Overall the stay was nice and comfortable.
The hotel prices quoted for bay tours and transport prices were astronomical though.
Almost quadruple the price the other local operators were quoting which seems a bit unfair to the unsuspecting public.

침대 청소를 하지않아 직전손님 이물질이 침대에 그대로 있어 너무 지저분해서 교환요청하고.. 옆방 떠드는소리에 잠을 못잘 정도로 방음이 전혀 없음니다.

They tried to charge us $19 per person for the breakfast.
Our room smelled like sewage was leaking from the toilet the entire time causing noxious gases to encapsulate the entire area.
The entire pool area was off-limits due to an event happening that we were not made aware of before we booked the room

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The breakfast is excellent, with a large and interesting variety. The hotel staff are excellent. They are warm, friendly, caring, and helpful in responding to our queries and recommending places to go to. My son of 10 years old came down with fever while we were there. After we had checked out and had to wait for more than an hour for our transport to arrive, one of the staff found out that my son was ill and offered to let us rest in one of the hotel rooms so that he could be more comfortable. Even though we declined her very kind gesture, she arranged a more quiet place with nice sofa seats for my son to sleep on, and offered us drinks. We are grateful for her care and concern. We will be back to the hotel when we come back to Halong city again in future.
Recht schönes Mittelklasse Hotel leider in der Umgebung gibt es nichts zu tun, alles künstlich u überdimensioniert angelegt, keine Infrastruktur, nichts los, insgesammt sehr enttäuscht von Nordvietnam

Spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and buffet was excellent. Plenty of variety and lots of refills. We got mountain views from both rooms which was an added bonus. Only let down is location, there are restaurants in walkable distance but very quiet at night. There was a light show visible from our room but a bit odd as not many tourists around to enjoy the view.

Fantastic staff who couldn't do more to help. Beautiful hotel from the rooms to the pool to the bar. Breakfast was a feast, the bar meals just what was needed and the seafood buffet incredible. Spa was wonderful. All in all an incredible stay in a beautiful location.

This is my 2nd trip to Halong Bay. I’m amaze by the warm hospitality provided by your employees. Check in staff was very courteous despite after long hour of work.

It was an oasis for us after 5 weeks of travel. Great place to relax by the pool and eat incredible food. The chef was amazing with his presentation and variety of food. I recommend this hotel as a place to have a total break and to relax.

Loved our room and overall whole experience at the Novotel Ha Long Bay, so nice to stay somewhere so clean, stylish and with a pool,gym & bar e.t.c
