Centrally locally around the old & french quarter in Hanoi with lots do restaurent and pubs to hang over. Staff very cordial and supportive to your requirements. Our stay was worth the price paid....but do remember it’s a boutique hotel.

Right in the heart of the old quarter of Hanoi, Matilda Boutique and Spa Hotel was our hotel for several nights.
Upon stepping outside the hotel, you are immersed right into the warrens of the energy of the surrounding area. There are western restaurants, and of course, the local cuisine. Things get crazy at night (especially on the weekends), so if taking a taxi, he/she will likely drop you off at the closest entrance to the hotel.
The room is small, and a little dated, to be sure, but consider that to be an ambient badge of honour.
Breakfast is served right in the lobby area, and a diverse spread is offered. Lots of beverages (both hot and cold) will get you hydrated quickly.
The staff are friendly, quick to assist with questions, and responsive to requests (e.g., extra towels, linen, pillows, etc.).
Very nice boutique hotel, centrally located in Old Town and just a few minutes walk from all the busy streets.
The reception is very attentive and the rooms have a good size.

This hotel is in a great location and offers good value for money. We had a very comfortable large room with a balcony and king bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable too

An amazing hotel in the old quarter. Walking distance to everything.
Thoi who took care of us during our stay organized all trips and transportation, all at very reasonable prices.
I will be staying here again the next time I am in Hanoi.

Really beautiful boutique hotel!
The room was small but cozy however it would’ve been hard if you travel with big luggage because I barely had room for my trolley... the bed and the decor are really nice and you had a view to the „garden“ so a window not facing the busy street. The Matilda is not in a quiet street but there‘s usually no loud music just motorbikes passing through which are honking a lot.
The breakfast was really nice for a small hotel! They had many fruits and deserts and juices and cereals and even some warm Vietnamese dishes. You could also get something a la carte like French toast etc but I never did.
The staff was also really nice and helped me out a lot! Can only recommend.
The staff here was very friendly and helpful even with the language barrier. The room was very clean. The bed was a little hard but manageable. I would definitely recommend!

This hotel sits right in the middle of the Old Quarters on a famous street lined with shops, bars and restaurants. Inside is modern and quiet. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

Staff was beyond attentive, helpful, and accommodating. Absolutely superb customer service. Breakfast was really good. & Of all the massages we received, the ones from this hotel were, by far, the best. The rooms were also the quietest, and the location was good.
More than anything, though, the staff were just outstanding. I truly appreciate all of the help

전반적으로 가성비 좋은호텔이에요.
일단 직원분들이 너무 친절하세요. 그리고 건물도 깔끔하고 조식도 생각보다 괜찮았어요. 위치도 맥주거리 바로 옆이구요. 밤늦게 놀기도 좋아요. 지난번엔 할튼오페라에서 잤는데 그땐 구시가지랑 거리가있어서 너무 힘들었는데 여긴 가까워서 좋았어요. 가격을 생각하면 정말 만족입니다. 한가지불편한건 호텔이 좁아도 케리어 올려서 오픈할공간이 있으면 좋을텐데 그게없어서 불편했어요.

The Matilda Boutique and Spa Hotel was a lovely place to stay while we were in Hanoi. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained and very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was exactly what we expected and very comfortable. The daily breakfast was very good and a nice way to start the day.
