The staffs in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I find the stay is comfortable. Moreover, it is at the heart of the old town in Hanoi and one can feel the vibrant of the old city.

the staffs are willing to provide the services but due to some limitation of the rooms. They could not support that much. My room is above the kitchen, so I could smell the cooking food and chating mostly. the room is quite spacy and new.

The place is totally new and in very nice location in the old quarter, the staff and Mr Minh Thoi were very helpful during our stay, they spent a lot of time helping and guiding us!!

One of the best 4 star hotel in the old quarter. Right in the middle of everything. The room is very quiet, spacious, clean, with all the amenities. The staff are very kind and professional. They go out of the way to help you book any trips, transportations, and provide many useful tips. Highly recommend!!!

Hôtel de style tres sympa. Petit budget avec un maximum de prestations. Les personnels sont très prévenants, tres réactifs et professionnels. N'hésitez pas de réserver cet hotel. Comme l'hôtel se situe dans le centre du vieux quartier, il y a toute de même un peu de bruit. L'hôtel propose notamment des activités intéressantes même de dernière minuit.

Hotel familial très accueillant et sympa. Pour une première fois à Hanoi, hôtel nous a donné de très bons conseils. Dans l'ancien quartier de Hanoi, l'hotel est un peu bruyant.

5.0 "Great hotel, best location in old town."
Hotel was very new(?) or at least looked it. Was the key combination of busy but quiet, so we had people to chat to yet a good night sleep.
Room was gorgeous, bed was super comfortable, curtains made the room pitch black, tv only had local channels (but who goes to watch tv?), bathroom was clean and spacious.
Locations perfect, 2 minutes walk to central old town. 2 minutes walk to the main road to pick up a cab without getting stuck in traffic chaos.
First of all , we can’t thank enough the amazing manager Mr Minh and his cooperative team .
All you need to do to plan a trip to Hanoi is to book at this hotel and handle yourself to Mr Minh , who will do everything to make sure organizing activities that fit to your interests and budget.
The location was amazing with many restaurants, bars , nightlife at footsteps away. But didn’t try the public transport to be honest.
The breakfast had reasonable options even for vegetarians like us.
The room was clean with an ok space for that area of historic old small buildings .
Big greetings to the hotel staff who are working as a family to please their guests.
We have even once seen Mr Minh taking time from his busy schedule to tour guide two ladies for free at old quarters upon their request.
One advice on tour selection : if someone has financial comfort don’t choose the cheapest options on Halong Bay trip, paying more few dollars can really change the experience.
Great hotel with amazing staff.

Wir kamen am Morgen um 10 Uhr in der Unterkunft an und konnten berreits usere Zimmer beziehen aich bekammen wir ein Kostenfreies Zimmer Upgrade. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Unterkunft ist sehr Zentral gelegen und es lässt sich eigentlich alles zu Fuss erreichen. Das Personal ist auerordentlich freundlich und hilft sehr gerne.

The Matilda Boutique Hotel and Spa was more than I expected. I had a brief stay and the staff were wonderful and helpful. They were able to recommend places to go and what was nearby. The location is central and the breakfast buffet made it easy to relax in the morning before heading out. I would definitely like to return for a longer stay.

My first stay at the Matilda Boutique and Spa Hotel was wonderful. I had a quick visit and stayed in the Classic Double Room was lovely with great amenities. The welcome items were a pleasant surprise! The staff were friendly and were able to get me sorted out quickly.
The property is in a central location, with everything you need almost near by. I was able to fit in an early morning walk by Hoan Kiem Lake before enjoying the buffet breakfast back at the hotel.
Thank you for everything! I would love to be back for a longer visit!
Initially we booked one night, but decided to stay for two more nights, because we loved the hotel very much. We were offered a free upgrade to a better room, that was very large and luxurious. The breakfast was good and better than all other hotels we stayed at in Vietnam.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended which attractions to see and how to get there.
Overall this hotel made our trip to Hanoi really good. We will definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.
