The service by the staff was excellent. From the welcome, assistance with the area, and being very accommodating when I had an evening departure (they provided a room for me to shower before my 11pm flight), they were the best service at a hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the location in the Old Quarter was so easy access the markets and a quick walk to the beautiful lake.
Any concerns I had, which were not many, were quickly addressed. Overall, excellent stay!
Emplacement très central dans le vieil Hanoï, plein de restaurants et bars à proximité. En revanche, rue extrêmement passante devant l'hôtel, du coup le bruit dans les chambres qui donnent sur l'extérieur. Le double vitrage est très fin donc il se peut qu'il y ait certaines nuisances. Le personnel est vraiment très professionnel, souriant et très agréable.

Best hotel in my journey. General Manager is awesome. Room was perfect Hotel Boutique. Breakfast was fine and really quiet. Location absoletuly amazing 1 block away from best restaurant. It's safe. Stay there!!!

4.0 "Hotel so good, except bad hotel taxi driver"
All service provided by the stuff is so wonderful, except little noisy from dinning room in the morning. Also Breakfast is so delicious, especially french toast.
Only one thing I have to complain is the hotel driver to the airport. We have never had such a terrible and dangerous driving experience before. My colleague was car sick by this scary driving. I paid for hotel taxi more than normal taxi. But I will never order hotel taxi, even though I wanna come back to stay this hotel again.
Location is great, within walking distances of many attractions, great eateries, small cafes. Would recommend to eat in those street eateries than restaurants. Staff are very friendly and could converse well in English. Room is not so great, window blinding is spoilt thus very bright in the morning. Toilet spray hose is spoilt also. Room is well-cleaned everyday, and replace with free toiletries everyday. Breakfast from hotel is not so nice. Anyway it is free so can't ask for too much. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in the hotel.
Excellent service when checking in..staff were there to greet us and made us very comfortable wh8leccheckimg if our room was ready. Room is very nice and exceptionally. Good location. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The Oriental Hotel in the Old Quarter was perfect. Even though in the noisy Old Quarter you did not hear any traffic in the rooms in the back where we were located. The room had plenty of room for two people and the staff was helpful and gracious. There was a full breakfast which was excellent. It was less then a 10 minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. The hotel is situated in the heart of things to do in Hanoi.
The hotel is clean and bed comfortable. Daily breakfast with a fixed menu of 7 items and mini-buffet with bread, cereal, local food and fruits. Staff is very friendly. On first day, the receptionist introduced the nearby attractions and recommended some local food.

The hotel is placed in the old quarter short easy walk to tour bus pick ups and tourist attractions. The hotel was very clean breakfast was cooked to order. The staff were exceptional.

This hotel is right in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter, which puts you in the middle of the action and close to great food and sightseeing. The rooms are very comfortable with all the needed amenities. Great A/C, large bed, complimentary water, coffee, tea and snacks. Great breakfast.
But what sets this hotel apart for me is the service/staff. Everyone from top to bottom and from arrival to departure is committed to your enjoyment and comfort. They will help you set up transportation, tours, dining, laundry and anything you may need as a traveler. Everyone is extremely kind, caring, welcoming and upbeat. I cannot say enough good things about Lucy and all the staff, they are just all wonderful!!
I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi.

We stayed in a junior suite for 7 days and found it to be the right size for 2 people. We felt very welcome despite arriving at the hotel at 2 a.m. on the first day. The staff are friendly and accommodating of our needs during our stay. The place is kept clean and the free breakfast has plenty of options and was a great start to days of long walks around the city. The location is perfect closed to lots of restaurants and shopping including the night market. We look forward to staying in Oriental if ever we find ourselves in Hanoi again.
혼자 여행을 하면서 3박을 했어요.
좋았던 점이라면,
약간 안 쪽이여서 도로 소음이 별로 느껴지지 않아요. 호안끼엠 호수 등 관광지, 맛집이랑 가까워요. 직원분들이 친절하네요. 필요한 것에 대해 어떻게든 해결해줄려고 하세요. 방, 욕실 등을 항상 깨끗하게 유지해줘요. 조식도 맛있었어요. 종류가 많지는 않지만 아침으로 그 정도는 좋았어요.
아쉬웠던 점이라면,
전체적으로 깔끔하게 유지하지만, 냉장고나 에어컨 상태 등 세세하게 보면 조금 오래된 곳이구나 느낄 수 있어요. 복도가 작아서인지 방문 쪽 방음은 잘 안되네요. 한 층에 객실이 너댓개 정도여서 자주 소음이 생기진 않았어요. 개인에 따라 무관할 수 있는 부분이겠네요.
대체로 만족했고 다음에도 기회가 되면 여기 묵을 것 같네요. 추가로 한가지, 외부뷰가 안되는 방이여서 창문이 없을 줄 알았는데, 건물 내부로 연결되는 창문이 있더군요. 그래서 인지 방안 느낌이 덜 답답했어요.

The hotel is right in the middle of the old town so it’s easy to walk pretty much anywhere within 20 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was pretty good. I guess not many rooms have exterior windows but the view inside the hotel was ok.

먹거리 놀거리등이 가가워서 넘 편했어요.
호텔직원분들도 아주 친절하고.
특히나 체크아웃하고 항공권시간이 오후 11시 여서.가방을 오후9시까 보관좀 부탁했는데 흥쾌히 응해 주셔서 가는날까지 편안히 여행하다 왔네요.
이자리를 빌어 호텔 직원분들의 친절함에 감사하다는 말 다시한번 전하고싶네요.

There were some issues with the original room. The standard deluxe room I had booked is really small (too small for a couple and two suitcases), but the so-called junior suites (which are just larger rooms) are only $15 a night more and well worth the upgrade. Once the friendly and efficient manager and staff had changed us, we were very, very happy and will be returning for our next stay in Hanoi.

구시가지에 위치하므로 역동적인 현지인들의 생활을 가까이에서 볼 수 있어 매우 좋았습니다. 방에 들어가면 오토바이 소리 안들리고 아늑합니다.
주변 볼거리, 맛집 등 걸어서 다니기에 위치는 아주 훌륭합니다.
호안끼엠 호수, 동쑤언시장, 맥주거리, 야시장, 예술인의 거리, 콩카페1호점, 반미25, 분짜타, 공항버스 정류장 등이 인접해 있어서 너무 좋았습니다.
호텔 조식도 맛있었고 스텝분들도 친절하십니다.
맥주거리나 야시장에서 늦게까지 머물러도 호텔까지 3분이면 갑니다.
선택하셔도 후회 안하실거예요~

A good experience for staying here if one interested in explore of the old city. It is walkable to most landmarks.
There is a small dining room but only provide breakfast, if one arrives late at night & not familiar the neighborhood, it would not be a good experience. Hotel should open the restaurant for dinner, not a long menu but simple one to meet the demand.
Staffs speak enough English to communicate but need further study of the language.
There is an airport bus not far from the hotel, 5 minutes walk & it is right by the lake, it cost USD 2 one way & run every 15 minutes.
We had a good time in Ha Noi.
호안끼엠 호수에서 멀지않고 직원들의 친절함이 돋보인 호텔. 호텔 입구를 못찾고 지나치기 쉬우니 주의하시고 한 가지 아쉬운 점은 샤워시 온수가 오랫동안 지속되지 않은 점이다.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Hanoi and Mary and her team at this hotel were exceptional and definitely enhanced our experience. From giving advice on attractions / local eateries, to booking our excursion to Halong Bay, the team at this hotel provided 5-star customer service and best value. An additional benefit is it located in the Old Quarter, a location which provided us a short walk to al attractions on the area.
The room were clean, with a floor plan that maximized the use of the available square footage. The breakfast was outstanding and the dedication to detail by Mary’s team was phenomenal. We were left with a greater appreciation and expectation in terms of what the “standard” all hotels should provide from a customer service perspective.
I am writing this review as a customer who did not receive any upgrades or special treatment... We notice Mary and her team treated everyone the same way during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Hanoi... You will not regret your decision to do so and will be able to enjoy this outstanding experience at this hotel firsthand.
