Ich hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Silk Queen ist eines der wenigen Hotels, welches wirklich richtig sauber ist, ein großes Kompliment.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist so vielfältig, ich vermisse es schon jetzt.
Obst vom aller feinsten, immer super frisch.
Warme Speisen. Rühreier wie man sie haben will, mit Kräutern. Total lecker.
Zum Entspannen und genießen eine top Adresse.

Upon arrival to the correct location, I was informed that the facility was overbooked and they had to transfer me to a different location.
The different location was not as good of a location. With the taxi ride and the waiting it added another 35-40 minutes to my check in process.

We visited the hotel before booking the accommodation and the room that they showed us was alot nicer than the room we ended up in 😐 The view from the roof was good and it was nice having a drink in the rooftop bar 🙂 The shower over bath was very strange and awkward to use and there was stains on the sheets and pillows 🙁 The staff were nice enough.... they would smile, say hello and try and help when requested. The location is very good right in the centre of the old quarter. All things considered it wasn't too bad but we probably wouldn't stay there again.
Good location, clean rooms, but laundry service was not very saficient

숨어있는 좋은 양심적이고 전문적인 마사지샵에 속해요 가격도 일반적이라 비싸지 않아요 네일샵은 전문 네일샵으로 가세요
마사지랑 같이하는데는 똥손이에요 아무나 막 합니다

Location is great. Lobby looks good. Service was good. Bathroom was not very clean at all and the wallpaper-like application in the bathroom looked cheap and was not appropriate for the shower, which had black gunk in pretty much every crevice. I Our non-smoking room reeked like cigarettes from God knows where. Overall disappointing for a hotel that's supposedly a 4-star hotel, even in Vietnamese standards.

Room was alright. 7.5/10
Swimming pool’s condition was atrocious. Pool size is small and the water was very dirty. Any sound person would not want to swim in it.
SilkQueen spa was bad. The masseurs were being called from other places, very unprofessional, talking non stop with each other went doing the massage. Didn’t bother to ensure the cleanliness of feet. Massaged the feet followed by the face. Extremely unhygienic.
The management should look into this and hire more professional masseurs.
This hotel is conveniently located right in a corner of the Old Quarter, close to restaurants and shopping and an easy walk to many sights. The hotel is decorated in a lush style which might not suit every taste, but clearly some effort has gone into it. The room we had was very comfortable, including a nice sofa and coffee table as well as two double beds. The breakfast was delicious - not a huge spread, but staff members were on hand to prepare things and help out with special requests. A lovely place to stay.

Property is very old and in need of updates especially bathrooms which have mold. If you are looking for a hot shower and a bed at a cheap price as a break from camping this hotel location and minimalist amenities could satisfy your needs. I found the front mgt staff rude and hotel lacking. The breakfast and location are the only positives about this hotel. At best this is a two star hotel but has potential to be four star with bathroom upgrades and staff overhaul. Be prepared not to have anyone help with your bags at check in.... again minimalism at this hotel.
Staffs r friendly, room is spacious and clean, breakfast is awesome, the location is great, we enjoyed our stay.

We picked this hotel for location, which is close to Hoan Kiem lake. But for a 4* hotel this hotel is not well kept. Breakfast was not well prepared. Bathrooms were moldy. It was rather disappointing. Staff was nice overall but we had better service at others

Whilst perfectly situated in the old town, the hotel looked much better in the photos than in reality. Our room needed paint and a little bit of touch up. Everything old, tired,marked and worn. We didn’t really have a window either which was unexpected. Just a window to a central 1sqm open space.
However, perfect location as I said for everything.

L’hotel est très bien situé. Le personnel est serviable.
La chambre est grande, spacieuse et dispose d’un grand nombre d’équipements (sèche-cheveux, peigne, brosse à dent, coton tige, peignoir, coffre fort, frigo, ...)
Le seul bémol est le petit déjeuner qui n’est pas exceptionnel...

We previously stayed at the Silk Queen two years ago and had no complaints. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but the hotels problems overshadowed their efforts. The room (303) was a bit shabby with debris on the floor, marks on the walls and grout missing throughout the bath. Don't look too closely and you'll be okay. Chronic issues include a lack of hot water and weak internet depending on time of day. I've seen refrigerators with brighter lights than the bathroom, which maybe fortunate. Towels are worn thin and limited to the number of guests. In order to rate this hotel four stars you'd have to be grading on a very steep curve.
The hotel location is very good and would favorably compare to a hostel. They serve a nice breakfast that would appeal to locals, but how do you run out of noodles in Vietnam?
The staff was amazing. Very clean and comfortable. The bath tub with shower was a bit awkward and difficult but nothing that would keep us from coming back.
