5.0 "Amazing staff, great location, felt at home A+"
Upon arrival, staff were quick to greet us and help with luggage. Clean lobby and delicious cinnamon tea were also nice to have while checking in. Coming from Hanoi, we had not seen the sun in several days so it was a delight to come up to our room on the 6th floor and have a nice warm sun with a great view of the mountains and tow blaring in through the big windows. All the details in the room were on point - coffee maker pre-filled to the maximum - which i needed - and the owner made me a cup to show how it worked, big comfy bed with chargers and lamps on each side.
The owner invited us to join his family and friends for x-mas dinner in the breakfast area. We enjoyed a traditional hot pot with more than enough prime cuts of fish and meat for everyone!
Perfect location on a quiet street just a few minutes walking distance to everything. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond all expectations, they even started breakfast early for us on our last day to make sure we were fed. Breakfast was delicious; beef pho, omelet, and the pineapple pancake were our particular favorites and a very nice way to start the day.

호텔 서비스에 아주 만족하였습니다. 매니저의 관심과 친절함 그리고 영어로 설명을 잘해주는 트래킹 가이드분도 소개받아서 떠반마을까지 트래킹도 잘했습니다. 구름이 많이 끼는 날씨였지만 안전하게 다녀왔네요.

The staff was wonderful in every way!! We were upgraded to a lovely corner room that was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The shower was great! The food was excellent, especially the French Toast.

The hotel is well placed next to the Church and the railway station.
We had a large family room in which you could create two separate spaces.
We arrived on December 24th and had not made any plans, we were invited for Christmas dinner with the other residents and the staff and enjoyed a well prepared potluck.
When my daughter and I got sick, the lady at the reception went to the pharmacy to find medication.
I can only recommend this hotel, the staff is extremely kind.
This must be one of the friendliest and most welcoming hotels we have ever stayed in! The service is truly exceptional, and the family room was very spacious and had everything we could possibly wish for. We arrived on Christmas Eve, were welcomed with a bottle of wine, and were offered a free full Christmas dinner and drinks in the evening (this was astounding to us, and showed great hospitality compared to other hotels we checked who charged high prices for Christmas dinner/galas!). They also kindly gave us warm sandwiches for the road, going back to Hanoi. The food was excellent -- both breakfast, dinner and sandwiches. Staff were very attentive to giving good service, and we appreciated the gesture of coming up with cold drinks to us when we got back from trekking. The family room does not have a mountain view (which we knew in advance from the description), but it has a nice big terrace, and from there we could hear evening mass and bell-ringing from the nearby Church. A truly wonderful experience for the entire family. We would highly recommend this hotel (which is also conveniently located right in the center)!
Ms Chau and all the staff are really genuine about providing great service. Their smile and concern came from the heart, and they made sure all the requests we made were met. Arrangements for trip, info about area, provision of shower even after we checked out... and even thoughtfully prepared warm bahn mi for us when we left for our bus to hanoi. So touched!

Excellent customer focused service from all the staff especially the manager, David and the receptionist, Chau. They always think in advance of customer needs eg. providing shower facility after check out before we departed when we were back from a trekking, offering packed warm sandwich to 5 of us for our long trip back to Hanoi. However pls note that there is a construction going on in front of the hotel.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel, bien placé dans le coeur de Sapa pour les départs d'excursion, restaurant et shopping. Accueil extrêmement chaleureux par Mme Chau, attentionnée et toujours prête à vous rendre service. Chambre très confortable, bonne literie, rien à redire ! Optez si possible pour une chambre avec balcon en étage élevé avec la vue sur les montagnes. Bon petit déjeuner !

Etter et par dager på et Homestay og med tracking i området, så ville jeg belønne megselv med en overnatting på et flott hotell før retur til Hanoi. Hotellet ligger inneklemt blant enkle bygninger og ser heller anonymt ut fra utsiden. Men når man vel kommer inn så forstår man hvorfor stedet får høy score. Rommet var fantastisk med høy komfort og fin balkong. Kjempeservice fra personalet. Tidlig check-in og sen utsjekk. God frokost. Skulle gjerne vært en dag til. Verdt pengene,
Clean and comfortable hotel, nice and helpful staff. Surrounded by construction going on from 6 am to 10 pm, view on construction site more than on mountain at this time. Expensive for what it is and at that location

When we arrived Mr. David welcomed us very nicely. Also all the staff gave us an excellent service and provided us immediately all we asked for. The hotel is located at the center of the city, great location. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
Horizon Hotel is a very comfortable and friendly place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The location is excellent and the room very quiet. We highly recommend Horizon as your place to call home while in Sapa.

It was lovely staying at Sapa Horizon, although the weather was not that good when we were day but our room comfort us, we chose the double balcony room. The hotel service was fantastic, they gave us early checking when we just arrived in the morning after our overnight train journey which was really helpful. I really recommend this hotel.

Service here was exemplary, they made you feel like family with lots of nice touches ....free fruit/wine etc. Everybody had genuine smiles, especially the boys in the restaurant.
Stayed 4 nights, went out to the town to eat on 2 evenings and were disappointed or got stomach issues.We should have eaten every night in the hotel. Sadly it is very quiet in the hotel restaurant in the evening, and it really shouldn't be.We found the food delicious and very reasonable.Try the hotel restaurant for dinner !
You have to put up with a lot of construction roadwork everywhere in town.It seems this will continue for the next 2 yrs
The hotel was in a great position. Easy to walk to everything. The room was large and well appointed with a lovely little seating area on the verandah. Good bathroom and amenities. The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would stay here again

We had a great stay at the Sapa Horizon hotel; we arrived early from the sleeper train from Sapa but we could still check-in in the early morning, and also got an upgraded room. Breakfast and complementary drinks were well appreciated, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We were expecting a stand-alone hotel building by itself, but it was actually reside at one of the non-prominent terrace shops. However, all the rest of the experience with the Hotel was marvelous! We were guided by Mr Kim to our room with brief explanation. Our room is identical as in the photo shown but I found both the room and toilet were a bit too small. It would be great if there was a Jacuzzi Bath Tub attached in the bathroom. Complimentary Red Wine was an additional perk for us. We love the sumptuous breakfast. Individual bottled fresh juices were available and the food were freshly cooked with quality. This had been the best breakfast we had in our whole of Vietnam trip this time! As we were late to catch up for our coach to transfer to Hanoi, and we had yet to have our lunch. Mr Kim offered us lunch. He specially arranged his staff to buy the ingredient to cook just for us. We were touched by his kind action! But due to the tight timing, we couldn't wait for them to cook and we just got to leave. Mr Kim arranged a Taxi to send us to the Pick-up point. It was fortunate that we had the Taxi arrangement made by the hotel. Our coach transfer pick-up point was changed without our notice. With the help of the people around at the wrong pick-up point and the taxi driver, we managed to get there in time without much hassle. The Taxi driver informed us that it was his responsibility to send us safely to our destination as instructed by the Hotel.
The manager was so kind and helpful, as well as the other staff

One of the very few positive experiences we've had during our week in Vietnam. When everyone else was harassing, inconvenient, flat out mean to us, the staff here was particularly attentioned, kind, and welcoming. Seeing our state of exhaustion after a horrendous night train experience, Mr. Kim offered us refreshments, a free room upgrade, a free bottle of wine, and complimentary breakfast we were not entitled to from our booking. He made us feel at home, and singlehandedly ensured that our 24hours in Sapa was THE highlight of our Vietnam trip.
Best hotel I stayed in during my trip to Vietnam. Delicious food and incredibly friendly and fun staff!

I have to commend on Mr Kim and his staff for looking after us very well. Even though we stayed only for 1 night, we enjoyed complimentary upgrade to room and amenities. He provided us with after checkout amenities and even packed us chicken roll for our long overnight train journey back to Hanoi. Highly recommended.

I booked via Hotels.com 2 weeks before, but they say that there is no booking. (This kind of things happen when using external service. It's OK.)
But the room that they assigned to us is not worth to pay over 3M VDN. What does "a mountain view" mean? A little bit of mountain with dirty buildings is a mountain view? I think they did not have the room that we booked, so assigned a different one. They gave us a bottle of wine as a welcome drink, but seems it is just compensation.
Nice hotel in the city center. Very close to where the Sapa Express bus leaves you and as close to the Sapa Sisters HQ. Breakfast was ok, not as many options as other 4-5 star hotels we had during our SE Asia travels. Room was nice with great views. They also offer laundry by the Kg (instead of $ per item) which was appreciated.

We had a very good stay at this hotel. The manager, Mr Kim was very kind to offer us our room when we'd checked in 6am. It was just perfect after a long overnight train ride from Hanoi. Location was perfect. Close to shops & restaurants. Breakfast was superb. Besides, the chicken noodles soup & many other options, we had one of the best french toasts from this particular restaurant. Thank you

The hotel is situated off a lane in Sapa town, so it’s quiet and lovely. Although the facade of the hotel is modest, the room we booked is clean and beautiful. We arrived 4hours late at the hotel close to 12midnight but the manager was patiently waiting for us and welcome us warmly and showed us the room with a complimentary bottle of wine and fruits. The staff are friendly and helpful. After we checked out of the hotel, we are able to leave our luggage here while we went trekking and is able to return there for a warm shower before we head to Hanoi. I definitely recommend this hotel and its excellent service if you want to stay in Sapa town.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The friendly greeting, the cinnamon and ginger tea, the afternoon fresh juice and cake delivery, the complimentary goodies in the room including a laptop to use during your stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast had plenty of western and Vietnamese options and all the staff members were beyond nice.
Last but not least the views!!! Waking up to the mountains every morning was such a treat, we could have stayed in the room all day long.
