La Beaute de Hanoi is ideally located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, near Hoan Kiem Lake. It's down a little lane off Dien Liet, a bustling shopping street. Nancy, who works at the front desk, advised me in excellent English about the hotel, breakfast, ATMs, shopping, etc. My room had a balcony, as requested, and was quiet and clean. My breakfast order the second morning was lost, but eventually I got delicious French toast. Front desk staff were uniformly cordial, looked after my luggage on checkout day, and walked me to taxis. There is an elevator, so you don't have to lug your luggage upstairs.
It was an amazing hotel and Nancy was incredibly nice! If be more than happy to stay here again!

Our reception upon arrival was excellent. Aubrey gave us a superb introduction to the delights of the old quarter of Hanoi. David the Manager is helpful and friendly. Mai is friendly and very helpful at breakfast. This must be one of the best value for money hotels in the old quarter.

The location of this hotel is outstanding. Just 2 blocks to the lake and within Old Hanoi where you will want to be. You might have trouble finding it at first, but once there it is easy to find your way around. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Top Boutique Hotel inmitten der Altstadt und doch absolut ruhig gelegen, da das Gässchen so schmal ist, dass keine PKW fahren und nur vereinzelt Motorbikes.
Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hervorragender Service, vor allem Nancy, die sich beim Check In viel Zeit nimmt, um alles bestens zu erklären. Sehr gutes Frühstück á la carte. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

La Beaute de Hanoi was a great place to stay while exploring the city of Hanoi. It’s location right in the middle of the old quarter makes walking around super easy, however it cannot be accessed by car as it is in a small alley, but with notice the hotel staff will meet your transport to assist with luggage and bring you the 100 feet or so to the hotel. The room was clean, the hotel itself is compact (by necessity as it is in the busiest part of town) with narrow staircases and hallways and a small elevator. Comfort did not suffer, however, and we were very pleased with our stay, which included breakfast, though there were so many foods we wanted to try in Hanoi that we opted to skip the hotel breakfast one of the days! The staff was very helpful in setting up transportation to/from the airport and our previously arranged transport to our cruise in ha long bay went seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Not as advertised with view and room condition. Paid for room with balcony but it opened to an alley and the view was another hotel room with guest staring right back at us. The doors to balcony were not glass or French but wood. We had to keep doors shut entire time we were there so we weren’t on display to others. Other than that, the toilet and shower leaked and the WiFi was very poor - to the point we just gave up on trying to use it during our stay. Upside is that the staff was very nice and friendly and the breakfast options and service was very good.
Location was excellent. Great for old city.

Tolle Lage, gutes Frühstück und schöne , saubere und große Zimmer. Der Blick aus dem Fenster war leider direkt auf eine Mauer aber für 1-2 Nächte nicht störend.

Great place to stay if you are in Hanoi. We were greeted by Martin who shared a delicious glass of fresh squeezed juice with us. This was just the beginning of the amazing hospitality showed to us by this establishment. Clean, quiet and friendly. We walked in having just spent several days in Sapa and handed them our laundry and it was quickly returned in perfect order. Would totally stay here again.

La Beauté is a gem inside the Old Quater. It sits on a quiet street steps from all the good places the Old Quater has to offer. David, the Manager, is keen on the details, from the delicious welcoming drinks, to the recommendations and amazingly decorated rooms. Furthermore, David organized my transport from the airport to the hotel at a favorable price.

The description of this hotel in the reviews are accurate. When we arrived we noticed that the hotel was under refurbishment so had to use the hotel 2 doors away. The property is similar to the one we booked. Just a word of caution, we booked a room with a window, we did have a window, but there was a wall just 6 inches (150mm) away from the window and no daylight could come through it. We only used this room to sleep in so this was not so inconvenient.
We booked the Halong bay tour pick-up from this hotel and David the front desk manager was so helpful in calling the tour operator to confirm the pick-up time. The concierge staff were so helpful on the day of departure to carry our suitcases to the junction where the taxi was waiting to pick us up to the airport. Taxi's cannot arrive at this boutique hotel because the street is too narrow. Hoan Kiem Lake and all the attractions are walkable from the hotel.
Amazing location close to everything! Specially the well known “Hanoi street food tour” at Kim’s tours.
I traveled with my 17 year old daughter as we felt safe and the amenities are perfect.
This time we were in the newer part of the hotel and it was very clean, even took a bath which is normally a no-no for us!
WiFi works great and they even checked us in early at 1 pm.
The staff works hard and I love this hotel!
Friendly staff with quick check in. Room was an ok size but was clean and well presented for our honeymoon. Balcony very close to opposite building but that made it quite quant to be honest. Wifi is not the best, so much so at checkout we couldn’t use our credit card so was forced to pay cash at a conversion rate that wasn’t great, restaurant was on the small and cramped side with need to up date the toaster. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and the location was great.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the location in the Old Quarter was ideal.

Nous ne pouvons pas évaluer la beauté de hanoi, pour cause de travaux nous avons été relogés dans un hôtel jumeau le Calypso premier hôtel sui y ressemblait effectivement comme 2 gouttes d'eau.
Chambre familiale avec balcon propre, très grande et bien décorée, lits confortables.

Not a bad hotel in the central area, near the lake, down a very narrow street. Building works next door start at 8 am, so don't plan on a long lie in, if you need it. The shower is a bit of a letdown. I prefer standalone shower, not a shower over a bath.
Room safe works.
For the money, I think that you could get a better hotel in the area, on a nicer street, but it is decent and clean, and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
