When we first checked into the hotel, we were a little disappointed as the room was rather old, not as big as I expected and the room had a bit of a stale smell when we first checked in.
However, the staff at the hotel made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable!
Kathy, working at the front desk, had been very helpful and always very cheerful when we see her! She is always a face we were looking forward to see when we had an question!
In fact, most staff in the hotel, the bell boys, the wait staff in the cafe, the other front desk staff, are very friendly and helpful!
Definitely made up for the lack of comfort in the room!

Beliggenheten til hotellet var sentralt i forhold til marked, kjøpesentre og andre fasiliteter. Rommene (Superior) var veldig små, det var såvidt plass til kofferter, og vi ble lurt av bildene på nett.
Personalet var generelt hyggelige men ikke mye til hjelp, spurte om blant annet airconditionen på rommet som ikke fungerte plutselig, gikk over en dag å få hjelp til dette... Utrolig varmt i koridorene også.
Frokosten hadde minimalt med utvalg, kunne bestille omelett å andre ting utenom, men vær forberedt på ingen tilbehør. En gang vi bestile dukket aldri maten opp.
Hotellet har ekstra kostnad for ødeleggelse av håndkler/dynetrekk som ikke blir informert om, håret mitt farget av på blant annet et håndkle å dette måtte jeg betale for, det kom til og med fram at de ikke en gang hadde vasket det før de bestemte seg for å ta ekstra betalt fra meg... Vimsete og useriøst personal!
This is a great area. We used to stay at Lan Lan 1 or 2 all the time but they have changed ownership and have gone very upscale. Our first time at GKCentral and we have been very happy. It is not your “chain hotel” but rather more of a one of a kind family owned hotel. Friendly accommodating staff, great breakfast with alternating local breakfast soups (Pho, Mien Ga etc) and a nifty make your own Banh Mi station. Eggs available and nice variety of local fruit, toast cereal etc.
Rooms are not fancy but have all the basics, good internet and clean! Overall great value for your money in a wonderful area with great staff. Will use them as a base to explore vn.
Staff have excellent smile and attentive. Will be back.

Das Zimmer war direkt neben einer Baustelle. Auch in der Nacht wurde gebaut. Personal absolut lustlos und unfreundlich. Frühstück entspricht dem Personal. Bei Check Out wurde noch versucht uns in eines der Touristen Abzocker Taxis zu setzen. Man wolle nur das beste für uns. Absolut nicht weiterzuempfehlen dieses Hotel. Frechheit!

Great location, could walk to the main attractions and shops. Hotel very smart and clean. Bedroom was lovely with large balcony, very little road noise.
Breakfast was great, all the usual items as well as being able to select from a fairly extensive menu

Friendly and helpful staff, Location, brackfast as a 3-4 star hotel ingorage me to back there again. Small window in room ( width 20 Cm) which only shows sunrise and sunset in the Suprior Room depressive.

This was an excellent hotel in a central location. Great nights sleep, after long flight. Reception staff and porters very helpful with all information and taxi services. The breakfast catered for all nationalities and again staff very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

Nice and clean hotel with good location. Only slightly negative thing was lack of soundproof inside room. You can literally hear what people speak in hallway and even in other rooms next to yours. Personally not a big deal for me. Might bother some people.
Overall very happy with our stay. Nice service.

Great location. Guest valet really professional. Room was as described. Upgrade to window room was “silly”. Window was very narrow on corner of room & over tub in bathroom. No point opening either. Overall pleased with stay.

the GK is right near the Ben Thanh & street food markets in district 1 - great breakfast & our room was really quiet which made for good sleeping.
the staff were great & all spoke good english - would stay here again.

Location is great being near to Ben Thanh market where the action is.
Breakfast selection is excellent with great spread of western food and Asian food with Pho provided too.
Rates seems reasonable
Good buffet breakfast! Close to market. Only downside is the street noise.

This place was convenient. However, there was construction--LOUD construction being done right beside the hotel that continued until 3:00 AM for two of the three nights I was there, and there are no earplugs to prevent that noise. I tried to rest on one of the breaks from my conference one afternoon, and the staff was stomping up and down the steel fire escape just outside me room. The room would have been adequate and the staff were nice, but the construction and noise left little time for rest. That was not cool.
Veldig sentralt, spesielt for shopping og god mat! Det kan vel diskuteres om det faktisk var vinduer på rommet, men det gikk fint. Litt kjedelig frokost. Ellers et supert opphold!

Well treatment from General Manager. Room was perfect really Boutique style. Everything was working perfectly. Loacation awesome 1 block away from best restaurants. Great service and more importantly Staff attitude.
