5.0 "Pleasant surprise"
Stayed two nights at Hanoi Elite Hotel and it was a very pleasant surprise.
This small hotel is located in the heart of the Old Quarter, but on side street, more quiet than the busy main streets. I was worried about the noise, the hotel being located in the Old Quarter, and coming from three nights without sleep in Saigon at a hotel that might as well have no windows. But Hanoi Elite has pretty good noise isolation, no street noise whatsoever.
The double room I stayed, although not large, is more than enough for two persons to feel confortable. The room is modern but the decoration is classic, really charming and fitting of the area.
The staff is without exception, friendly, professional, polite and attentive.
The breakfast is not buffet, but you can choose from a menu. There is a good selection to choose from and you can order all you want and reorder if you still feel hungry. The quality was much better than most buffet breakfasts I had...
The only thing that can be an issue to some is that there is no lift (no room for it really). The staff will carry your stuff luggage up and down (even if you want to do it yourself) but if you have mobility issues, of course it is a deal breaker.
Really happy with my stay, will be my choice again when I return to Hanoi.

5.0 "A wonderful place to stay"
The service is amazing. When we arrive, Le patiently sat us down to brief us about the neighbourhood, offered us a welcome drink. On Christmas day, we had a surprise treat from the hotel with free snacks, wine and juice. They were all out to make it a wonderful stay for us. We love it.
We had a family room, room was a little small though.
There are no lift in the hotel, but the bell boy is always helpful to bring up the luggage for us.
Central location. Great staff and service. Free snacks

Kleines aber feines Hotel im Herzen der Altstadt von Hanoi. Super Serviceorientiert und Freundlich von der Rezeption bis hin zum Rest des Teams. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen!

Hotel + Lage sehr zu empfehlen. Gute Betten und ruhig in einer Seitenstraße.
Sehr freundliches Personal.
Bitte aber bei den angebotenen Touren ( bei uns zwei Tage Sa Pa mit einer Übernachtung im Homestay und eine 3Tage/2 Nächte Tour in die LAN HA Bucht ( statt Ha Long !) aufpassen ob das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt - am besten vorher vergleichen.

Location is great, right in the heart of old quarter, but quiet as it is in a small alleyway. Room is a bit small and not much of a view. Staff are friendly to provide support, helping us coordinate with our ha long bay cruise bus pick up.
Check in process is also very thorough, walking us through the map of hanoi go orientate us and giving us points of interest to visit.
Boiled water tastes funny. Might want to bring a travel size kettle. TV channels are fuzzy but can still watch.
아들과의 첫 해외여행이였는데 그 가격에 시설 및 서비스 만족합니다~ 직원들도 친절하고 조식도 괜찮구요~ 다만 계단이 좁아요~~^^

This was a charming boutique hotel, small and unique in style. It was a fantastic location within the Old Quarter. The staff went out of their way to please and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was no lift in the building and our room was on the 6th (top) floor, so it would not suit elderly or disabled guests, but if you are young and able it is all part of the authentic Old Quarter experience.

A wonderful place to stay in the Old Quarter. The Hotel was under different management this time but Kate and her staff do a fantastic job of providing top service to guests. Everyone was so attentive to our needs - from the check-in, daily cleaning, arranging taxi service, and the check out when leaving. I only had breakfast there once in 12 days because we would sleep too late. But the breakfast we had was delightful. I should mention that the first night when I checked in I was given a wonderful snack of local fresh fruit and tea. I definitely recommend the Elite Hotel to visitors who desire to stay in Hanoi's Old Quarter.
The staff was incredibly attentive to our needs and helped plan part of our trip. Not only did they take care of train tickets for us when we were half the country away, but also took care of my mom for tours and transportation with no problems after I left a day early. I would like to specifically mention Ms. Linh for her regular and thorough communication to solve issues prior to arrival.
