Roof top area was nice apart from the constant loud music which wasn’t very relaxing the breakfast area was chaotic in the morning and the food wasn’t very nice, the staff were not very helpful and the room in my opinion hadn’t been cleaned properly and staying there for 5 days the bedding hadn’t been changed over that period. It is in a convenient area to the see the attractions in the city.

2.0 "cockroach right beside our Bed"
We really had our hopes up with this hotel but sadly we are totally let down.
But mostly me. First we were given a standard room even though we booked a deluxe one.
And then the worst thing happened.. There was a cockroach right beside our Bed! Some might think I am a but sensitive but I don’t think a so called 4 star hotel should have a cockroach in their room...
I asked for a bug spray and now we have to spend the night here and I can’t wait until we check out tomorrow morning.
Summarize: Find another hotel.
Great staff and location! Walking distance from everything, staff are very friendly and supportive

The hotel was excellent value for money and in a terrific location. Staff were very helpful. When I got ill on the last night of our stay they organised a Dr to come to the hotel and the medications deliver to my room. Fantastic customer service
I booked the hotel for 3 nights. First night, I had a room with lots of traffic noise from the street coming from the bathroom that can not be avoided, it is the layout of the room. I requested to change room for the second night. I woke up at around 4am as I felt some insects or could be fleas in the bed that bite me on my face, eye, neck and arms, it was very swollen especially on my left eye. I showed to the Manager in the morning, she decided to changed my room and upgraded me for my final night. Unfortunately, my face was so swollen that I decided to stay in the room and not go out which was a wasted of my holiday. The room was lovely but as I was going to bed, I always checked the doors, there were 2 doors that lead to the balcony, one from the bedroom and the other from the bathroom, both doors were broken and cannot be locked, I was too tired to complain so decided to just go to sleep. I arranged a chair in front of one of the door and put my luggage in front of the other door so if someone is to come in, I will be able to hear them. Unfortunately, I didn't get much sleep as I was too worried that both rooms from either side of mine, they can easily climb over from their side into my balcony. In the morning, I told the Manager about the locks, she had no idea that they were broken and thank me for letting her know so she can get someone to have them fix.
Nevertheless, the location is great, 10 mins walk to Vincom Centre and Parkson. Not far to the CBD.
The housekeeper never change the bed sheet during my three night stay I keep asking them to change it.

Room clean, breakfast was good, pool on rooftop is small but good to cool down in and view from there is amazing. There is some traffic noise, but that is Ho Chi Minh (its a busy bustling city)!.

Très bon hôtel refait selon les standards 4*. Bonnes prestations, cadre très soigné. Le seul défaut serait peut être qu'il soit sur une rue principale très fréquentée.Le bruit peut déranger.

Great medium-sized hotel in a perfect location! 2 blocks from the Independence Palace or the War Remnants museum. Easy walk to Ben Thanh. Co-op supermarket around the corner. Great selection of restaurants.
We had a garden suite room, which was a good size. The balcony was nice with a table and chairs and outdoor tub. Since the garden suites are only available on the 2nd floor, the tub feels a little exposed to the public.
The pool deck and bar are on the 11th and 12th floors and provide a good view over District 1. Watching the sun set over the city with a couple beers was nice. At the other end of the spectrum, practicing yoga on the upper Sun deck at dawn was wonderful. Note to the staff: keeping a couple yoga mats in the gym would be much more preferable to using a towel as a mat on the wood decks.
The breakfast availability was good. Options catered to their Western (eggs to order, pastries, cold cereal), Chinese (fried rice, bao, etc) and Vietnamese (noodle bowls) guests.
We also took advantage of the airport transfer. The hotel staff was very accommodating and made the process easy, which was welcome after 23 hours of travel.
We found all of the staff to be very pleasant, able to provide help in English, and willing to share tips about the neighborhood. We a very enjoyable stay.
Jag råkade ut för en olyckshändelse på hotellet då jag halkade på badrumsgolvet och fick ett sår/jack i pannan som blödde otroligt mycket. Jag kontaktade receptionen som ordnade med allt. Transport till sjukhuset tillsammans med personal från hotellet. Mycket omtänksamma, dagen efter kom hotellets chef fram till mig och frågade hur jag mådde m.m. 5 ++

Hotels.com에서 방 사진만 보고 예약을 해서 욕조가 있는 방과 없는 방, 총 2종류가 있는지 모르고 그냥 예약했었습니다. 여자친구가 욕조가 있는 방을 원해서 프론트에 얘기했더니 친절하게 지배인이 내려와서 이유를 설명해주고 다음 날 다른 방으로 교체를 해주었습니다. 대충넘어갈수 있는일이였지만 친절하게 다 해결해 주셔서 너무 좋았습니다. 아 그리고 사이트에 호텔에서 공항까지 가는 차량 서비스가 1200000vnd 라고 나와있는데 200000vnd 이예요! 괜시리 길거리 택시한테 돈 더주고 가시지 말고 이서비스 꼭 이용하세요! 절대 후회안합니다 저는 공항통행료에 팁까지 포함해서 돈 드렸네요~

this property looks great on the photos when you look at it but its not a 4 STAR at all its a 3 STAR property. don't let this fool you please. english is very poor at this place and very noisy. amenities are really cheap and not good at all for me,

Durch die Kopfbrause fließt kein Wasser. Erst beim zweiten Anruf kamen das Personal. Nach der Reparatur funktioniert wieder die Kopfbrause. Sonst sind wir mit der Dienstleistung des Hotel zufrieden. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Personal unterhielt sehr laut mit einander. Der Empfang ist nicht aufmerksam. Der Abfluss in dem Badezimmer war verstopft und stinkt.
Sonst hat das Hotel eine gute Lage in der Innenstadt.

Although the room looks great the quality is question. An example is the walls, they are nearly paper thin and you can hear 100% of what happens in the hallways

1.0 "Irresponsible hotel"
Booked the hotel one week before and upon check-in, the hotel informed that they had run out of room. Told me they arranged me to stay in the hotel nearby which is cheaper and downgraded my room from a city view suite to a superior room with no view. I had no choice as it was late night. I had to pull luggage to the other hotel. The hotel staff just checked me in and left saying that he will transfer me back the next morning as I booked 2 nights. Come the next day, nobody contacted me and I don’t know if I need to check out this replacement hotel. I walked back to Au Lac and they said I have to stay in the replacement hotel the second night too. There is no form of compensation at all! I find the way the hotel deals with confirmed reservation is totally unacceptable and lack of integrity. There is no sense of responsibility to keep even the reservations, how to trust that they will provide good service for their in-house guests???

Ein gemütlicher Nachmittag oder Abendschlaf ist kaum möglich
Was das essen bedrifft, niedriger Qualität, besonders das Frühstücksbuffet
Personal spricht kaum English ,besonders im Service Bereich
Eins muss aber erwähnt werden, eine Dame im Manager - Bereich war sehr hilfsbereit, das reicht leider nicht aus
Ich kann leider dahinhend was die Beurteilung bedrifft keinen Stern abgeben
Schade ,da die Location super ist und die Hot Spots
Zu Fuß easy erreichtbar sind

Bra service, trevlig personal, fin takterrass med pool/gym/sauna/soldäck. Rummen rena och fina, lite lyhört. Stor variation på frukostbuffén, serverar även eftermiddags kaffe/te med frukter och snacks.
Hotellet ligger centralt och nära till sevärdheter. Rekommenderar varmt!

On day of checking in I have to change room 3 times almost a fourth, first room there is no side tables and no telephone, 2nd room there is no refrigerator , 3rd room refrigerator has no power when room key card is removed - they solved it by slotting in a permanent key card so that power circuit is available to run the fridge. I would imagine that for a guest who stayed for 10 nights some consideration to give a good room could had been done. Room cleaning is non better, not really clean and never checked shower and shampoo refill even when I remove the pump to indicate they are empty. Staff are not well trained and managers seem more biased towards European and western guests than Asian guests. However, I will say breakfast is pretty good, the door man are great （interesting that is the door man that is most helpful). Nice pool area but the gym space is so small I wonder why they even call it a gym. Property deco is cozy and seem newly renovated and understand they are moving from 3 star to 4 star, if so this property really need to up their basic service excellence. Location is a plus in District 3.

호텔이름이 베트남어라 하던데 아무튼 로컬 단체 투숙객이 많아 로비에서 떠들고
아침 식사시에는 떠드는 소음때문에 토 나올뻔 했어요. 어느나라나 단체 손님들이 떠들고 공용지역
사용에 매너없는것은 공통일것 입니다. 또한 로컬 투숙객이 많아서 인지 아침 메뉴도 시원치가 않아요. 하다못해 베이컨도 없고 그냥 현지식에 빵과 과일 정도...
커피도 한꺼번에 내려서 큰 통에 저장해두고 필요시마다 리필하는것 같고 아무튼 외국인에게는 불편한 점이 많아요. 지역이 편리하고 스태프가 친절하다는거 빼고는 추천하고 싶지 않습니다.
They accept my early check-in request, and even set an extra bed for us even though we didn't request.
Newly renovated clean room, lots of sunlight, a pool with nice view. We enjoyed stay there. Thank you.

I have to apologise to the maid as I found where the towels are after phoning down for some. Everything worked very well and the staff were eager to help in all matters.

Great location, very clean and comfortable. The manager and the whole team are extremely friendly. Took care of us as if we were family. We felt looked after and appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel for staying! :)
