Le personnels est très gentil et professionnels. On fait tout pour que l'on se sente bien. Vraiment un plaisir que de séjourner à cet hôtel.

We were very happy with everything. Good location, nice room and good breakfast. The staff at reception were very helpful and other staff as well. We had pick up service from airport through the hotel as well as own car from Huê to Hoi An. Also a full day seightseen tour. All were very good.
We can really recommend this hotel to other travellers

Good location and great staff! Room was clean but you could smell the moisture damage.
Excellent amazing hotel!!!. We enjoyed are one night stay at this hotel enough for us to stay for one more night rather going back to danang. Everything is ( 5 )🌟 🌟 🌟🌟 🌟. I recommend this hotel if anyone planning to get to hue.

The staff was the best we had throughout the trip, very professional and so attentive. Well situated near restaurants and entertainment , 30 minutes walk from the Imperial City. The rooms were big and the breakfasts were a la carte and very good. They booked our transport from Hue to Hoi An with a driver-guide that brought us to attractions along the way (LAN Ko beach, Mountain Pass,and Marble Mountain, even a pit stop at Danang, ). Good hotels in Vietnam always help you plan and book your needs for transport and visiting.

Great staff, always here when you need something. The hotel is in quiet street and well placed in the city. The staff can speak english so for foreign tourist this is the best place to book a room !
The only minus I could give is the restroom which is a little bit small.

Opholdet levede op til forventningerne, og vi fik lov til at tjekke tidligt ind grundet ankomst med nattog. Derudover hjalp receptionisterne os og var virkelig søde og venlige. Alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse!

A++++ very good and clean hotel. The best breakfast. Nice receptionist. All male staffs were nice with great services but only the staff man with red uniform who is standing or sitting right by the door to open and helping carry luggage in the first day i came was smelling so bad and stinky. He need to clean or wash his work uniform and keep his body underarms with deodorant good though. However thanks for everything in all services and I love Hue.
From start to finish a fantastic little hotel. Staff amazing and room fabulous for the price we paid. We definitely recommend to all. Breakfast was ample and delicious. All in all a fabulous experience

We had a great time here. Breakfast was exceptonel. The view on one of the tributaries of the Pearl river great. The room was great value for money. All restaurants, bars and shops were within walking distance and the Empirial City, Citadel and Old Town a cheap taxi ride away. But best of all was the great service of the staff. We recieved so much support and help from the staff at the reception! Thank you again and again!

Everything was close to perfect at this hotel, especially considering the price.
Really loved:
- superb breakfast
- amazingly beneficial staff
- comfy and clean beds, room facilities
- they fulfilled our request to give a room with the river view
- quiet sleep at nights
- easy to arrange the tours through desk
Was struggling a bit with:
- location (not so many eating joints around designed for english speaking customers), but it takes 10min by foot to the night walking market, just felt lazy to walk far sometimes
- sewage smell in bathroom (probably pipes need thorough cleaning)- this made us little bored with necessity to burn incense and open up windows each time we were back in room after tiring day of travel.
But overall it was nice experience!

We were very impressed by staff at this hotel. We only had one night and the tour they recommended for the next day was excellent. They let us leave luggage and then offered us a shower/towels at the hotel before our late evening flight. Very quiet location within easy walking distance of restaurants and services. Great stay!

The hotel is quiet, although balconies, too small except to just stand on. Location is great, walkable to restaurant area etc. The breakfast is adequate, unfortunately the fruit served was never very good. Generally very limited breakfast choices.
The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Lots of smiles. Check in process is nice - juice and fruit and cold towel while you wait.

excellent location, beautiful large room, and an outstanding staff made our stay most enjoyable. Amy from the front desk was especially kind and understanding while responding to requests. The staff spoke excellent English. I would stay there again.

Staff are very client oriented, unfailingly courteous and go out of their way to look out for guest's welfare. Despite my late evening arrival they arranged hot pho soup to be delivered to my room. They offered hot ginger tea for my persistent cough.
Service is taken to another level considering the hotel's reasonable prices. I was gifted a small drip sieve and coffee upon departing as well boxed cut fruit for my train ride. I doubt there's a task too small for them to do.
Top that off with a great location in the old quarter where a panoply of street vendors parade by the hotel entrance. There's an excellent restaurant nearby serving signature 'bun bo nam bo' - a vermicelli noodle dish served with grilled marinated beef, fresh vegetables, some pickled carrot and a lightly spiced ‘nuoc cham’ broth - $3 a bowl. Also very close are 2 very good massage spas.
Put it all together and you have an exceptional value hotel
5.0 "Quiet, Clean, Affordable and Excellent Staff."
Serene Shining was in communication with us from our first booking until we left. They offered arrangements for a car pickup in Da Nang to transport us to Hue. Driver were excellent. We made as many stops for sightseeing as we wanted along the way. We arrived at the Hotel situated down a narrow alley. We were welcomed into the hotel with a welcoming drink and fruit plate. We were also offered tour options for the Hue area. Since we had previously booked the DMZ tour with Mr Trung (excellent by the way) we only booked the city tour through the hotel. We also reserved a car to take us to Hoi An the morning we planned to check out.
Our room at Serene Shining was larger than we expected. There was a sitting room with sofa, chair and coffee table. The room included a safe box, hair dryer and a king size bed. There were 2 TVs in our room. The room exceeded our expectation.
The inclusive breakfast allowed us to order off the menu and it included everything you could ask for from cornflakes, eggs any style to Vietnamese Pho. The highlight was the buffet of fresh fruit including passion fruit, dragon fruit, watermelon, mango, papaya, bananas and more. There was coffee and several fresh juices too.
We used the Massage Spa and were very pampered. The spa staff were very professional and courteous as everyone working at the hotel was. Definitely top marks for friendly staff.We recommend Serene Shining Hotel to everyone. The staff are excellent. We'd definitely stay here again.
We stayed here on a previous visit to Vietnam and it was a joy to visit again. Unfortunately we only had one night in Hue this time but the delightful staff and the marvellous room made us sad to leave. Our breakfast was generous and delicious and the staff even gave us a package of fruits for our bus trip north. Great service and great value. A definite favourite!
