Everything is broken. Insects everywhere. Loud neighborhood. Mediocre breakfast. Mediocre A/C. Staff tries to trick you that you've got an upgrade etc. Quite unpleasant stay. Especially when there are cheaper and much much better places in a 300m radius.
The place is great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the noise levels in the evening because of the night club next door that ends the music at 2 am :-( if one plans to go to sleep early will find it difficult because of it.
The pictures look great. Unfortunately this is not really a true reflection of the hotel. It was dirty and old.

The room was a big enough size and was clean
The beds were decent too along with the bathroom. Staff were very helpful , room with great breakfast. Location in the middle of the old town , close to market and shops.

The service was excellent and the bed was very comfortable with a nice big room. The door of my room wouldn't latch properly and the handle didn't work. There was a used player on the table inside the bathroom

Hotel located in middle of bustling old quarters, so be prepared for noisy environment. Staff were accommodating, in that they moved us to a quieter room on request. Still noisy, as next to 2 night clubs.
Accidental breakage of glass shelf in bathroom (?!!) proved costly, as we assured that n’all Vietnamese hotels have these shelves’.
All in all disappointing.
Our one-night stay was great. We were greated very nice with offering of cold drink. The location is closed to great restaurants and theater. The checking in and out process were fast so we were able to go watching a show, then visiting the Sword lake. One downside point was there was very loud music playing in the neighborhood around 1 am that woke us up.
Al nostro arrivo abbiamo voluto cambiare stanza in quanto quella che ci avevano dato, sebbene segnata come superiore e senza nessuna nota, era davvero piccola e soprattutto senza finestre. Abbiamo dovuto aggiungere €30 per tre notti. Nella stanza nuova ci siamo trovati meglio, sebbene il bagno non fosse il top. Dopo le pulizie giornaliere, è successo di trovare in stanza dei capelli non nostri.
Colazione piuttosto insufficiente, nello stesso locale in cui la sera sono accalcati numerosi motorini.
Staff gentile anche se piuttosto insistenti nel cercare di vederti SIM, escursioni o altro.
Sono stati molto gentili a custodirci gratuitamente le valigie per una notte oltre la nostra prenotazione.
They are advertising $64 Superior Rooms discounted to $19 . After arriving at my room I thought O’dear ,I wonder what the standard rooms are like if I had a Superior Room. I saw the room door open across from me and it was a large room. I thought maybe they mistakenly put me in a standard room so I went and enquired. The in room phone was not working so went down stairs. I was informed the hotel does not have standard rooms, the cheapest is a Superior room. The walk in price is $19 and never $64. TOTAL DISHONESTY. The rooms and hotel is old. No in room Safe box. Some drug dealers hanging close to the entrance. I booked a bus for 11am , They woke me up at 7am by phone ringing but couldn’t talk because phone is broken. Guy came to my room but didn’t speak English. I went to reception. A large bus parked on the street waiting for me. I showed my booking papers and they confirmed their mistake. Disappointing overall!
We're really welcome when we reached the hotel for the first day, staff were very helpful, friendly and nice, from the receptionist to the door man. The receptionist walked us to the room and showed us what they have and how it should be used, also introduced the breakfast with very good manner. The room was clean and fairly big compared to other hotels I stayed in old quarter before.
Like - easy access to tourist visit place. Dislike - Room look clean but dusty and cause me itchy .

This hotel make me feel that I was scammed as when we arrived on first day, their customer service manager Anna mentioned that hotel is all fully booked. She then mentioned that she will give me a double and a single beds instead of my booking of 2 queen size beds which I booked (family suite). But she gave me no choice but to except eventhough I show her the photos that the room is not what we booked. She only agree to change only on the third day after we are back from our Ha Long Bay Trip.
Feel cheated as my booking for Family Suite was accepted and payment was also collected before my arrival. When I reached hotel they gave me Dulex triple that was downgrade my booking without refund.
The hotel only give bedsheets as blanket, bedsheets will not be change during your duration of stay. If you want to book, you better screenshot your room booking images and do not agree to change any options they give till you view room as they seem to try their luck on giving you the worst room and tell you hotel fully booked.
This hotel should not even deserve 2 stars as lobby has no aircon and they just give keys without identifying guests which we encounter when we returned from our cruise on the third days and when we ask for our downgraded room key, they gave us and later we discovered that all our luggage are lost. After running up and down then they said they move all our things to new rooms. Feel unsafe to let them keep keys as such things should not happened w/o our present ☹️
I was locked inside the bathroom because the door didn't work properly, when the guy come to fix it, he told me not to lock the bathroom door and instead lock the main door, but he realized that there was no lock inside, so I wait for another 10 mins for fixing it. The tea cup wasnt clean, i could still see someone lipstick left on the cup and there was water on the floor in bathroom before i even used it. It was noisy at night even thought its 11.45pm, thought it came from some pub or bar in the building or near there. Im not happy at all with the room although the staff was nice. I would not recommend this hotel.
The staff were incredible and went above and beyond at any opportunity they could. They were so helpful and booked us our cruise of Ha long bay which was amazing! We even got a free room upgrade room due to all the stress the bus company caused us. The rooms were large and had every amenity you need during your stay. Overall great stay
I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting the above and also being located in the centre of the old quarter.
Det var et fint sted til at sove til prisen og morgenmaden var okay. Vi manglede noget mere variation i morgenmadsbuffeten. Vi bookede en tur til Sapa gennem hotellet og turen der oppe var enestående men der var ikke tjek på transport og hotellet - da vi ankommer til Sapa busstation er der ingen klar til at hente os og vi har ikke fået opgivet vores hotel, bussen der op var meget beskidt. I de 24 timer vi var booket ind så vi kun to andre par på det store hotel og vi sad altid som de eneste og spiste både morgenmad og aftensmad... ikke specielt hyggeligt...
Hotellet ligger 50 meter fra en natklub/bar som spiller bassmusik til kl 04 om morgenen - det ved vi fordi man bliver holdt vågen af det.
Alt i alt et okay overnatningssted til prisen, men kommer vi tilbage til Hanoi søger vi efter et andet hotel.
The location was perfect and the staff went above and beyond in serving our every need.

The music wouldn’t stop playing until 3AM in the morning.

Their lowest tier rooms don't have windows. Bedsheets looked like they were not changed and room smelled musky. We were given safety deposit box key but room had no safety box. Service staff was quite pushy towards selling tour packages. There was a funny message behind our door as well.

Friendly staff a d they upgraded me to a room with a balcony after my complaint about my original room bei g too noisy. Great breakfast and convenient location.

The hotel is located at the core area of the town. I could easily access to different tourist spots in short travelling time. Staff at reception are very helpful and they are patient in introducing the local tour package to me with bargaining price.
