5.0 "Lovely hotel, fantastic service"
This is a lovely hotel, very comfortable, with all the modern amenities, including hair blower. The room I had was large with lots of closet space and a safe.
The outside pool is high up with a view, small but lovely.
Breakfast is a lovely buffet catering to western and Asian tastes with a wide array of foods.
The staff is superb, very friendly and helpful, outstandingly so in fact.
When I left and flew to Nha Trang on the next leg of my trip, I realized when I got thee I had forgotten a lot of money in various denominations, as well as credit and back cards, in the room safe.
Staff at both hotels cooperated to transfer the money electronically, and send the cards by courier. The Helios staff in particular were marvellous in getting this done at their end, a lot of effort went into this on their part, and they were great at checking up on the result.
And they refused a monetary token of appreciation.
I was very impressed with their efficiency, professionalism and friendliness in resolving my problem.
We stayed a few night. We were happy with what the Hotel provided . Location in the central of the old town. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast offered a wide of choice . Rooms was clean and nicely presented.

Stayed in 1 room for this visit. The room was scary. The whole room was humid, Sink drain stopper stuck, waste water drain blocked. Please be aware the noise is very loud from the NightClub / Bar back hotels.
A standard, lowe tier hotel room which needed an update. OK for a cheap night, it was Ok for the money.... the Staff were Fine.

Disgusting, no hot water to shower, just pay 5$ more and you will get a way better hotel.
Äckligt, inget varmt vatten för och duscha, betala bara 50kr mer och få bra mycket bättre hotel.

5.0 "Great place to stay and extremely helpful staff."
Highly recommend staying here. Great rooms and friendly staff. This was our first time to Vietnam and the first place we stayed. IWe organised a Halong Bay trip through the hotel before we arrived at a good price and they picked us up at the airport for free. The staff were very friendly and really helpful with everything, made us feel very welcome.

My room was a generous size, with a separate sitting area and two balconies overlooking the street. The bed was very comfortable with bedside lights, a nearby wardrobe and a useful desk with chair. The room was also provided with A/C and wall-mounted TV. The bathroom was clean and well-provisioned with large towels and the usual complimentary bathroom accessories. Convenient central Hanoi location with friendly, helpful staff. At the price, the Stelios Legend Hotel represents very good value.
The actual condition of the hotel is not as 'new' as the photos. We stayed for a few hours as transit room, I do not recommend this hotel for long stay.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was dirty smelt horrible and needed a renovation. Even when they cleaned the room it didn’t feel clean wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it

The bath did not have any silicon and there was no drain so the bathroom flooded every time we had a shower. There was loud music playing until 3am and we could not sleep. Staff were pushy at times and not very good understanding of hospitality and yet strangely courteous in other areas like carrying our luggage.
great hotel. room was clean and nice. shower clean and hot. the people running it are super helpful and attentive.

The service by the staff were thoughtful and the staff were all super polite. They ensured our stay was comfortable and knowing that it was our first time visiting the country, they recommended places to visit and food to try that are located within walking distances from our location of stay. They know our needs and plans we've told them very well and always remember what our requests were. The place is overall very comfortable too with well-maintained amenities and clean rooms.

Pros:
The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. They let us use the iron, which was great. The check-in process was really smooth.
Cons:
It was extremely noisy during the night, I wasn't not able to sleep because there is a bar/nightclub right next to the hotel and the music kept going on until ~2am. The breakfast can be better, since they didn't refill the fruits and coffee as fast as they should.

Virkeligheten var en helt annen enn det bildene viste, det var veldig slitt og møkkete på rommet. Når vi dusjet ble hele badegulvet fylt med vann og det var ingenting å sope det vekk med, noe som var veldig upraktisk. Vi hadde vindu ut mot gaten, og der var det fryktelig mye støy, men det må man nok forvente de fleste steder i Hanoi.
Betjeningen var veldig hjelpsom og kom med en restaurantanbefaling som var helt super, de hjalp også med å skaffe drosje som ikke var overpriset og andre tips som var kjekt å vite for førstegangsturister i byen, men det klarte likevel ikke å kompensere for den generelle standarden på rommet.
This hotel is a fantastic hotel with brilliant staff, and an absolute steal at the off season rates advertised on Expedia. The location is great, it's clean, the tour desk is helpful, and the staff are all lovely. Highly recommended!

Room is old and in dire need of maintenance. Looks like the furniture and fittings are the originals from many, many years ago. Hotel staff did not want to process our check in and would have held onto our passports if we did not ask for them back. Water pressure from the shower was terrible and there was no safe inside the room to store our valuables. For the second night we stayed here, the lift was out of service and we had to use the back entrance, which was located on a side street and surrounded by middle aged men who would stare at us when we walked past. Overall, would not recommend.

There was nothing much to recommend this hotel although the staff were very helpful.
Equally, apart from a hard bed there wasn’t anything to complain about. The WiFi wasn’t strong enough but overall, as a place to stay it was okay for the cost.
