Above all, the staff were fantastic. They were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The position of the hotel is also excellent being on the edge of the old quarter. The rooms are very nice. They were clean spacious and well equipped. The breakfasts were buffet style with optional menu items to select from. Included in the breakfasts were fantastic cream cakes and they even had options for chocolate mousse or passionfruit mousse. As a tip I thought the passionfruit mousse was superb and easily as good as the chocolate mousse.
I have no hesitancy in recommending this place. And I would gladly come back to this establishment if I visited Hanoi again.
Excellent hotel & fabulous staff! Well positioned in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Amenities are very good, rooms very well appointed & great breakfast catering for all tastes & nationalities. We were upgraded on our return from Halong Bay, so thanks indeed!

We loved our stay at this property. The view at the Red Bean restaurant was great. The buffet breakfast was good. We opted for the sweet fresh fruits and the pho. It was a great start for the day. Everyone in the hotel was very helpful and we really appreciated their hospitality. We were greeted by Nick who explained the vicinity and provided us with a map of the area as well as some welcome drinks and some fresh fruits. When we had a buffet breakfast, our server was very attentive. She made sure our coffee was refilled and hot and she was very prompt at cleaning our table. At the end of our trip, Lena and her colleague chatted with us and asked for feedback on how to improve their hotel. They asked us about our stay. We will definitely recommend staying at this hotel! 👍

The pictures don’t do this place justice. Hotel is beautiful, modern, updated and clean. Service is top notch. It was my dad’s bday and the staff saw that on his passport and surprised him with cake and singing happy birthday when we were in the lobby waiting for a cab. We were all so shocked at their stealthiness. Everyone was super helpful and professional. Location is close to things but on a quiet side street so rooms are peaceful. This hotel group does a great job and there are so many nice little touches that put them at the top of their game. Pro tip: hotel rooms can be small in Hanoi so splurge for the trendy suite if you like a little more space. We did and it was well worth it.
Stayed for 4 nights in Jan 2019. Boutique hotel tucked in a quiet corner of the Old quarters. If you are looking to be near attractions yet having peace in the middle of the night, this is for you. There are dozens of other hotels located within Old quarters area but are along busy streets with lots of traffic. Hotel staff service is excellent. They remember your faces, your check out dates etc. Complimentary buffet breakfast is great, no complains for the price paid. Hotel Spa is wonderful as you will get a private spa room to yourself etc. Overall, great experience. Definitely looking to stay with them again.
A lovely lovely hotel with great service. Right in the heart of “mad” Hanoi, but on a quiet street. Great find.

The staff was super friendly, very competent and made us feel at home. Everything was very clean, the location in the middle of the Old Quarter was perfect. The food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

This hotel is awesome! The staff is super nice and the rooms are very clean and perfect for a couple of nights in Hanoi. The breakfast buffet is great and has everything from pho, eggs benedict to fresh fruit and pancakes. The service is awesome. We had a red eye flight to Japan and before dinner they allowed us to shower before heading out. I have never had this kind of service. I wish there were more hotels in the US that would have this great of service. Thanks La Siesta Hotel Trendy for making our stay in Hanoi awesome!
The Hotel is ideally located on a quiet street. The staff is fantastic and very accommodating.

The service and staff here is amazing!! It is equivalent to staying at a 7 star hotel. We had trouble with the cruise we had booked and the front desk staff, Anna, helped us tremendously by calling and rebooking a different one for us. Would stay here the next time we’re in Vietnam and I highly recommend this hotel !!

Incredible stay here at Trendy. Lovely staff that was professional, helpful and accommodating. Hotel is centrally located in the Old Quarter in the middle of everything. Facilities are impeccably clean. Softest bed and pillows I slept in in Hanoi!

Fab hotel in a great area. The arrival was amazing with a welcome drink and fruit. They brought the luggage to the room so it was there before we got there with a fruit bowl in the room too. The only downfall was the rooms are not soundproofed enough so you can hear your neighbors and the noise from the corridor all night. They held the bags for us for the day when we checked out and also prepared a bag for us for our train ride!
Nice hotel located in the old quarter area. At time of arrival we’re welcome with drinks and snack while waiting for our room. The trim was ready even before check in time. It’s a reasonable size room with comfortable bed and pillow. The AC is centrally controlled even though there’s a remote control in the room, it can’t be change from cold to heater. We had to let the staff know that the room was too cold to get the AC changed to heater mode. The room come with free breakfast. Breakfast has quite a variety.
La Siesta is a superb chain, the best of gracious Vietnamese boutique hospitality. The hotel is a bit noisy due to thin walls but Jason more than made up for this. My son enjoyed the interconnected room. Otherwise, La Siesta Central is a lovely choice. We booked most of our tours via their Travel Desk and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Excellent 4 Star hotel in the heart of Old Quarters. Even though it is only rated as a 4 Star hotel, everyone that works at the hotel offers 5 Star level service AT ALL TIMES. Hotel is very well staffed and all hotel associates proactively helpful. Great experience in service, this hotel can go toe to toe with any 5 Star hotel I've ever stayed at when it comes to delivering great service. You will be impressed.
The service level here s simply amazing and a testament to management and ownership.
The hotel is located in The Old Quarters so it is on the smaller side. Prepare to hear some noises from the streets at night (minor). This is really due to the location and not really an issue the hotel is at fault for. The trade off is that you are staying right in the middle of the Old Quarters and have easy access to everything.
I was completely blown away with my experience of staying here. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. I could not have asked for more. I would like to thank Jane and her colleagues for making my stay so pleasurable.

Great hotel that looks pretty new with hip decor. Service is impeccable, though the rooms are a little small and the bed comfort level I would rate 8/10. The location is great - it's not on the main tourist streets so it's quieter, but still walkable and very near to lots of good food and attractions in the area. great cafe right next door with fantastic coffee too. Overall a great choice for a short stay in Hanoi.

The style, location and service by the female staff is great. Negatives are, breakfast and lunch buffets are dry, too many stairs, my shower drained away from the drain, I rented a Trendy suite and the only chair to sit in was the desk chair, I had to walk up a flight of stairs (the elevator didn't reach the top floor) and the male staff was less than ideal.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The hotel was conveniently located, the breakfast not too shabby, the room clean and spacious.
But the real gem was their service. They were all cheerful, politely and super helpful.
Not just the concierge, but every staff member we interacted with.
Big shout out to Nick, and to Rob who went out of their way to help us.
There is a lovely lady who is a street side vendor that comes by late every night, and the staff would help me contact her to find out what time she is coming and even go out to help me translate as she doesn’t speak any English.
The service really makes me want to go back again.
It was a great location. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The manager went above and beyond to help us when our Ha Long Bay tour didn’t pick us up. He arranged for a car and a member of the staff to travel with us to get us to a pick up location. The tour was booked through a separate company, not the hotel, so it they were very helpful and making sure their guest has the best experience even when it was not their problem. The manager was also extremely helpful when my husband was sick and walked with us to a pharmacy and helped us get what we needed.
We got a windowless room which I do not recommend, it felt like it was always nighttime and you don’t get to watch the cities charm from your room. However, this is just a preference, the room was really great otherwise.
The buffet breakfast was great with many options.
Wonderful service and food, enjoy very much during our stay though I think it's quite expensive in Vietnam.

The staff gave us the most welcoming reception when we arrived as well as upgrading our room without request. The hotel is in a good location, in the old quarter, a short walk from the best streets and the lake and in a quieter area which is a good thing as the old quarter streets can be pretty crazy with traffic noise etc. The hotel is really nicely fitted out and quite hip, as the name suggests. The breakfast is also great, with buffet and a la carte options to rival many bigger hotels. We had a slight problem with our room in that it was right next to the top of the lift where the mechanics of the lift were, which made it noisy, especially noticeable in the dead of the night, and also our AC was noisy. Together we didn’t get a great sleep. After the first night we went to the front desk to ask if there was another room. We were blown away by their response - they couldn’t have done more to assist. They showed us another room and within 30 mins whilst we were having breakfast had 4 people come in to move our things and make sure the room was set up perfectly for us. They also gave us a voucher for their sparight next door (which was amazing!!) and helped us with our reservation for that and have since contacted us by email thanking us for our feedback, explaining they have already discussed improvements to be made in their weekly management meeting and provided a great offer for when we return. Wow! That’s unbelievable service!!

Great property, location is great. Staff make this place special, they cannot do enough for you. The Restaurant on Level 8 and the Den Bar below. Really enjoyed myself at this property and will stay here again for my next stay in Hanoi.

This was our second stay at this hotel since we liked it so much. We were coming back from Sapa and only staying one night before heading to Halong bay. The staff remembered this (as we had stayed 3 nights in Hanoi a couple nights before) and asked how our trip had been and offered nice recommendations for Halong bay. Rooms are really pretty, breakfast in great, location is good, but it’s truly the staff that makes everyting so amazing. They really go out of the way to make you feel at home (which is welcomed, as we are traveling for 3 months). This hotel was recommended to us by a friend, and we will most definately recommend to everyone as well!

Staff very friendly and happy to assist.
Room looks amazing - however bed is extremely uncomfortable and room is very noisy! You can hear anytime another room (beside or above) uses any water/ shower/ toilet etc.
