The location is very convenient. Though the room is not spacious, it is clean and bed is comfortable. Kai, one of the reception staff is helpful. The breakfast is served in a nearby sister hotel. Food is average. The bell boy is nice and helpful too. Actually, the reception staff are good. Bed is comfortable. The shower provided after we check out is excellent especially suitable for us to take a night train. In summary, it worth for the money.
The hotel is in a long and stinking alley, the rooms are super small, the bathroom is not accessible and dangerous. The pictures presented do not reflect the truth - we ordered the most expensive room and it is just like all the rooms on a higher floor, we were terribly disappointed with the hotel, the breakfast is nice and served in another hotel and the way is short but unpleasant. We arrived at the hotel after a long and straight journey and tried to sell us trips and a taxi to the airport at the end of our stay. They told us that it was hard to get a cab in Grab, which was not true of course, and tried to get us a taxi through them at an exorbitant price. The hotel understood that we were not satisfied and therefore bribed us in a free taxi to the airport and a bag of coffee in return for not writing reviews about the hotel. The room was refreshed in the afternoon, and at that time we rested in the room, after a long walk in the city and before night, so they did not clean the room. And they did not change towels, and brought toilet paper, only after I went to ask one of the cleaning women I met on the small, stinking little floor. The smell of the hotel was bad, a huge disappointment. I do not know how the hotel rated the site at 9.2, I would rate it at maximum 6.2, and I'm generous
Decor is an acquired taste and the rooms are Very small. On the other hand 5 star customer service and everyone will help you plan/transfer/have a good Hanoi experience. At 25usd per night it is very good value for money and would recommend
