The staff was very nice and welcoming.
Our first room was a little small, however we got a free upgrade to a bigger room, which was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was perfectly fine and very clean.
The breakfast (which was not in the hotel itself but in a nearby hotel) was amazing - the best we had during our stay in Vietnam. There is a wide variety of choices (continental or traditional breakfast), for instance you can get freshly prepared Pho.
Wonderful little gem in very busy city of Hanoi.
We have arrived by bus 86 from Hanoi airport to Long Bien bus stop (paid 35.000 Vietnamese Dom around £1.10 each). From the bus stop is about 15 min walk always straight and hotel is hidden in a small little street on your right.
Hotel staff couldn’t be helpful enough - we had a long flight from Uk and decided to catch up on sleep so ordered take away (£5 for two) and had absolute feast !
Following day hotel organised for us a transfer to Cat Ba Island for $12 each (they dropped us at the door of hotel in the island).
Breakfast in the hotel was simply amazing - lots of choice (although they have crazy sweet coffee)
We stayed in delux room - it’s small, but has everything you need. Bed is rather hard , but we found it in all hotels in Vietnam.
I couldn’t recommend enough this hotel - great price , great location , great food and fantastic staff !

Lee was amazing! He was extremely accommodating on our original stay, and even set up something special for our honeymoon. Upon our return to Hanoi, our other hotel was less than great, so he helped us out once again get set up at a room at a sister property. Give this place a shot!

Nach unserem Upgrade fühlten wir uns wohl. Hatten erst ein Superior Room dieses war allerdings sehr langezogen das bett war klein und das Zimmer war eimiges schlechter als gedacht. Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und fragt mehrmals am Tag nach dem Wohlbefinden.

We arrived 7 hours earlier to the check in time and the hotel very kindly offered us free breakfast. They gave us a city map and explained where the main attractions and places to eat were.
Located walking distance from the main places to go. Staff looked always happy and ready to help. Breakfast was great. Good value for your money.

Hotel staff - Mr Lee is very helpful and polite. He can speak good English and always give tips to us about where to visit at Hanoi.
Hotel is very clean, quiet and at awesome location. Easily access to restaurant, street food and night market.

Room is much smaller than it seems on the photo but they have much clean bed than other hotels in this area. Smells less. You will be surprised at first where they located but it is safe and close to beer street. So makes it very quiet.

Reception and staff were amazingly friendly. In such a perfect spot too, right near the night markets and popular food streets, but down a side alley so it’s not as noisy as those right on the main streets. Breakfast was excellent too.

Below average 3 star property located in a hidden street with no view. Some rooms are smelly. Decoration looks cheap unlike on photos so if this is what bought you, think twice. Breakfast is served at the sister property of a higher class and is good. In general, there are plenty of options of a better value and location for the same money, but it's an OK property for 1 night stay

일단 위치가 후미진 골목이예요. 그래서 관광객은 절대 찾을수 없는 위치예요. 건물 외관이나 주위 또한 사진과 굉장히 다릅니다. 그래서 한시간을 헤맸어요. 내부는 청결한 편이지만 서비스가 엉망입니다. 예약한 룸이 꽉찼다며 다운된 훨씬 더 좁은 방을 줬어요. 비추합니다. 하노이가 하도 싸서 다 그런가 했는데 싼게 비지떡이라는걸 여기서 알았네요.

Small nice hotel with small rooms. Breakfast is served at the sister property of a higher class and is spacious. Hotel is located on the back street so you won't get room with the view on the old quarter regardless of what you request. This makes their rooms quiet though.

I had a very bad experience with the restaurant staff,they told me to leave when they were full. I waited at the lobby however they still let many guest to the restaurant. They didn’t like me. Although y room included breakfast I never returned.
One of the lady staff at the front desk was very rude and lack customer service. She stated I cannot have water and only 2 per day when the room is serviced. So I bought my own water.
This hotel are surrounded by noisy dogs. I tried to be friendly w the dogs but the owners told me not to bother the dogs. I love dogs.
Very disappointed with the hotel.
Management needs to rethink their relocation policy as relocating return customers twice in a row is unacceptable. Poor experience. Will never book again

Hotel is on the edge of the Old Quarter near markets/shopping, nightlife and other attractions. When i booked this hotel i knew i wasn't getting 5 stars and expected a small room - being the Old Quarter. However what was described and photos on their website and hotels.com site is NOT what was awaiting us on arrival. My biggest disappointment was that the rooms looked nothing like the photos, all the small details and touches in the photos were non existent. Bathrooms were not like the photos. The rooms were outdated and beds uncomfortable and not clean. Our room had issue with some small bugs (i think ants) had the shake out of the bed when going to bed and around the table. The small lift had a really unpleasant smell (like something was rotting in the vent - which was made worst by cheap scented sprays to try to cover it up. The breakfast is served in a different hotel a short walk from the hotel. The "tranquil" street mentioned in the description on their website is a tight alleyway where the people living in surrounding houses cook, wash and keep their small dogs. The picture of the lobby is fake. Personally i feel stupid by not looking at the photos more closely as the view in the windows and the doors of the lobby are clearly photo-shopped - badly. Never came across any establishment doing this. In some countries this hotel would make a great case for a misleading advertising case.
Only saving grace for the hotel is the very attentive and friendly staff.
The staff is friendly and helpful and speak fluent English. They helped us book our Ha Long bay trip, which was incredible, and were able to check us in early after an overnight flight. The service was just outstanding. Our room was small but pretty and comfortable. Everything was clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast. It is served at their sister hotel but it is very close and also a beautiful spot. Highly recommend!

Travelling with a group of 10 friends. Booked 5 Executive Rooms, with Balcony at Cristina, but we were moved to the sister hotel Viola Royal Hotel & Spa. 8 of the passengers arrived a night prior to us. I just paid for the extra night prior, as the rooms we paid a good rate anyway, and it was easier to book all together.
Didn't seem as spacious as the image online, for the Executive Room. The bed was against the wall on one side, so one person had to climb over to get out of the bed. Style of Decor was pretty much as per the image. One of the pillow covers was a little thread bare, but all appeared to be clean and tidy.
Bathroom - All amenities provided. Bath over shower - bath had tall sides making it a little difficult to climb in and out (and we are quite tall).
Breakfast included in the rate, was located upstairs of this sister hotel with great choices available.
All staff were fantastic - great service.
Taxi found it hard to find and had to ask someone on the street. He drove as close as he could then pointed the direction to us. We had to walk down some narrow alleys, but asked a local for directions and she was very helpful and guided us to the right spot. Note that you will have to drag your case down streets (this didn't bother me, but may not suit everyone)
There are many cheap value options in Vietnam, but I would stay here again for for the price we paid.
Great staff who speak excellent English. Very helpful and accommodating. Comfortable beds and they arranged to notch transport (tourist sleeper bus, taxi, etc.). I returned 3 times as they also stored my bag between excursions to other parts of Vietnam. The location is down an alley but close to many things and easy to get Grab for cheap travel around town. I loved the staff - sincerely great and professional. I will be back.

Nice hotel that close to the main road as well where you can easily get on to public transport (if you know how). It is inside the old quarters area and the hotel is just 2 turns away from the famous night life of Hanoi where all the bars and night clubs is.
However, this hotel's entrance is situated inside a small alley and you won't able to locate if yourself if you are not local. At most you look for its sister hotel (but i forgot the name) which is main road facing.
I am very satisfied with their service as well as they did accommodate my special request of a honeymoon room decoration!!! Thank you so much!!! Will certainly come back to stay again for my future holiday in Hanoi...

Newer hotel in an quieter alley off the main streets, with some super friendly staff. Rooms are a bit small/cosy, but higher quality furnishings as compared to similarly priced hotels in the area. Great breakfast at their sister hotel a few doors down. If you're coming as a couple, definitely upgrade to the larger room with a balcony to fully enjoy your stay. Location is also pretty good, close enough to most of the interesting parts of Hanoi without being in the middle of the madness.
하노이를 3번째 방문이라 별 기대없이 가격 적당한 호텔을 예약했습니다.
약간 골목에 있지만 여행자거리와 가까이 있고 편의 시설이 근처에 많아 여행하기 좋았습니다.
스탭분들은 아주 친절하고 잘생기고 아름다우셨고 퇴실하는날 선물까지 챙겨주셔서 정말 감사했습니다.
제일 좋았던 점은 조식이 정말 잘나왔습니다 이 가격에 밥까지 주니 공짜로 잔듯한 기분이 들었습니다.
다음에 하노이에 가게 되면 다시한번 꼭 방문하고 싶습니다.
