Nice friendly staff, attractive lobby area with a well and spiral staircase, nice enough room, harder bed than we would like but seems no different to the most of Vietnam. Good location close to nightmarkets and streetfood.

Can reach hotel by Bus86 alighting at Long Bien stop then walk a bit. (No luggage please)
Close enough to all the fun. Hidden enough to be quiet at night.

Good location, walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, convenient to get everything from food, coffee and shopping.
Was very touched by one of the bell boy who offered me a ride to a Bun Cha place for late dinner when I came back late after a day trip. He refused to accept a tip and insisted that he wanted to help. Very kind and commendable to go beyond his job.
Initially felt strange to be in a room without windows, the hospitality and kindness of the staff made the stay comfortable and pleasant.
다른건 뭐라 할것은 없는데 새벽 5시면 닭이 울어댄다. 아주 힘차게. 차 빵빵거리는것보다 더 심한 소음이다

Mold, mold, mold!
We checked in closer to midnight and had one of the remaining rooms left in the hotel. Upon entering the room, the air was stale and mold growth was noticeable from the entrance.
We checked the bed sheets and pillow covers and they were all stained. The front receptionist called one of the remaining cleaning ladies left for the night and she came checked the stains. She said it was acceptable and does not need to be cleaned. It looked like someone had a nose bleed prior and sneezed onto the white sheets. We asked again for the change and was denied unless we paid her in USD money. The smallest amount I had was a $5 bill, which is equivalent to 116,000 VND. Considering you can grab a bowl of noodles down the street for about 30,000 VND, that's quite a lot. After we paid her, she went and grabbed new sheets, but threw them onto the existing stained sheets... She said if we're not going to help her remove the stained ones, she's not going to do it. We demanded our money back so we can change them all ourselves, but she refused. We helped her changed the sheets and she left.
Inspecting one of the mold on the ceiling above the A/C unit, we noticed that it was recently painted over prior to our check-in. The paint was wet and the paintbrush marks were still visible. The next morning, the painted area was highly visible with new dark black mold growth.
We checked out early and was not refunded for the days we did not stay.
The quaint boutique hotel nested innthe middle of the Old Quarters, with a very early 20th. Century flavor! But the most were the STAFF everywere, the Receptionists, the Handyman and chambermaids. Breakfast was very different!

Staff was very helpful during my stay. Breakfast was also quite nice and breakfast room very comfortable but relatively small. Also good location. Wifi was a bit slow in the room but worked in lobby area.

Check in was great. Wifi in the room didnt work so well. We had a corner room. In the hallway and lobby the wifi was great. Breakfast was good enough. Great location.

Central location, rooms are nice but need a little touch up. Hotel includes a spa with Turkish bath but it is not readily available to use

This was such a neat hotel in such a vibrant part of the old quarter. The hotel had so much character, the staff were so helpful, the breakfast was nice, and the spa was a nice bonus! I can not recommend this hotel highly enough!

This was by partour favorite hotel in Vietnam. It has so much character and offers so many amenities. It is extremely affordable and really nice looking. The staff were helpful and excellent. The location is perfect. Can not recommend this place more highly.

After traveling to Thailand, Cambodia and ending my trip in Vietnam I treated myself. The bed was huge and so comfortable, the bath was amazing just what I needed, the staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was provided but I didn’t want to get out the amazing bed. Highly recommend this hotel even for one night

Ikke rigtig nogen problemer, søde folk på hotellet, fine værelser til prisen og beliggenheden er fantastisk. Lige midt i den kaotiske bymidte (det er en god ting), men helt stille på værelserne, virkelig fedt! Eneste negativ var at hygiejnen ved morgenmadsbuffet’en ikke helt var i orden, men det var ikke voldsomt slemt

Friendly staff that were very helpful. The spa was very nice, where we enjoyed a head and shoulder massage. However, we had to wait a while for them to call in a member of staff to do the massage. We also were allowed to use the sauna and hot tub after but the hot tub didn’t look in use. There was also a gecko in our room when we first arrived, however we called the reception and they sent someone up straight away.
