I actually didn’t stay in the end. I checked in late, to find the main hotel closed up, and so I was directed to their ‘other’ building which was smaller, shabbier and didn’t even have a reception area. The bar/ restaurant was closed but due to the Covid situation I wasn’t totally surprised. My room was really run down and when I realised the door didn’t lock that was the moment I decided to leave. The man who let me in was very understanding and let me leave without charging me anything. I feel sorry for these smaller boutique hotels during this time but my safety and comfort comes first.
Wie wurden aufgrund des Covid-19 umgebucht auf ein anderes Hotel der Kette.
Church Boutique - nicht die gleiche Preiskategorie.
Leider optisch nicht mehr so ansprechend wie das eigentlich gebuchte Hotel.
Leider gab es kein warmes Wasser zum duschen ( haben es mehrmals versucht)
Frühstück dafür war ansprechend

1.0 "Dont stay here! Lier! Not honest! Worst hotel ever"
Arrive 4-5pm On31/12.hotel said the room have problem. So he gave us the room in the next hotel name Gem premier luxury hotel. The hotel said that they gave us an upgrade to a bigger and more luxury room. Which is not true at all!!!!!!(pls see the photo1-4)This room is on the 2nd floor on the left side from lift. The floor wasnt clean, the wall paper and furniture was old, and the window is facing a wall!) After that we went directly to lobby to refuse staying in that room and request to cancel it. Hotel reply that we can cancel but they wont refund any money. Which was unfair! They said the original room we booked has some prob with water and hotel was full! I checked on the web and found out that they are still selling rooms in triple price! So we called hotels.com to change us to other hotel and callcenter need to call hotel to prove what i said was true. Then the hotel lied again that i was checked in and ok with the room they offered when i still waiting at lobby for more than one hour. I waited there for callcenter to call me back for another hour and no feedback from callcenter. I gave up and the hotel said they will give us a room in au co art (and said that it was an upgrade again! Which i think it was the room i booked at first but hotel want to keep it for others to sell higher price cos its 31/12) and he will move other customer to gem premier instead. We were so tired and disappointed so we accepted.no apologize, no guilty, no service minded at all.
De laver overbookninger og sender folk over på et andet hotel som er meget under standard. Jeg havde desværre betalt på forhånd og fik beskeden at de hverken ville give afslag eller pengene tilbage. De var fuldstændig ligeglad. Handler kun om at snyde folk. Hold jer langt fra dette hotel

Muy bien ubicado, la habitación un poco pequeña y muy antiguo el edificio
All staff are very friendly and helpful.
And location is quite nice. Many cafe, bar, restaurants near by.
It’s in small alley, so quite, too.
We want to come back and stay this hotel ;)

La ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro de Hanoi.
El desayuno es variado y todo el establecimiento está limpio.
Como inconveniente el tamaño del baño era bastante pequeño, al ducharte se sale todo el agua y la encimera del lavabo es tan pequeña que no puedes colocar ni un cepillo.

We arrived at 1 am and were greeted quite rudely. The one holding the key threw the key on the floor at the person who was showing us to our room, what a sure fire way of telling someone you’re not welcome. There were no welcome drinks as advertised. The rooms (we were given a free upgrade, but unfortunately it was on the old wing so it looked more outdated) had no decor, but quite comfortable. Good location, value for money.

Very friendly team. Warms welcoming. Very clean. Calm area

4. 이 호텔은 건물이 두개 붙어 있는데 조식먹는 건물이 옆건물에 있어
밥먹으러 옆건물로 가야함
5. 조식 맛(쌀국수)이 그때그때 차이가 있음
6. 스파는 시설이 따로 있지 않고 부르면 마사지사가 오는 시스템임
7. 청결이나 직원 서비스는 괜찮음

An sich ist das Hotel für den Preis völlig in Ordnung und die Zimmer sind echt super. Jedoch wird hier mit falschen Bildern geworben, was kaum mit der Realität in Verbindung steht.
Wij kwam met regen aan in Hanoi, dus waren van plan een luxe hotel te boeken. Nou, dat is in ieder geval gelukt. Bij binnenkomst is iedereen meteen enorm behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Dit verandert gedurende het verblijf ook niet. Wij hebben 4 dagen in het hotel doorgebracht en hebben het, ondanks het weer, echt super gehad.
Er zijn een aantal zaken die er voor ons uitsprongen; bedden zijn zacht, super badkamer met stortdouche en of bad, , massages, sauna, goed restaurant en een geweldig ontbijt.
Alles liep perfect tijdens onze trip naar Halong Bay! Goede communicatie vooraf en alles was in orde. eer goed georganiseerde tour.. er. Al bij al fantastisch en de klantvriendelijkheid is ronduit goed!

C'est un resort à taille humaine fondé par une famille de Hanoi et ouvert en dec 2018. Donc tout est neuf. Très bien conçu dans un style . , très bien aménagée! . Le Spa est excellent et nous avons bénéficié d'une promotion de 20% pour un traitement en couple. Le pied intégral!
Le buffet petit-déjeuner est carrément somptueux et varié. Il y a tout ce dont on peut avoir envie.
Le personnel est TRES attentionné. Ils sont vraiment aux petits soins, proactifs, efficaces bref charmants! Et tout le temps avec le sourire. On sent une bonne formation derrière tout cela. Cela aide à passer un séjour paisible.

We came here quite late in the afternoon, we were welcomed by good drinks at the Lobby. The staff here is so friendly, especially Mr. Huy, he support us so well.We booked our Ha Long Bay trip with them and have only good things to say about them. The price is very reasonable for the quality they offer and the service was outstanding.
Bed was so comfy and clean. Breakfast was amazing and staff at the restaurant is friendly as well
We stayed 4 nights at Au Co Art classic Hotel and wished we could stay longer. Fantastic hotel all around. Great large room with really nice bathroom. Everything was so clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent with so much variety. All the staff were so friendly and helpful including the manager.
We booked a 15 day tour for 8 people going to Hanoi, cruise to Halong Bay, Hue, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City. she was wonderful and helped me plan the entire trip.
Buena opción calidad / precio. Perfecta ubicación, habitaciones muy chicas pero básicas ! Servicio de primera , muy amables !

Hotel spatieux, site tranquille loin de la circulation, personnel courtois qui parle très bien l'anglais. . Buffet du matin délicieux. Endroit très propre.
Maia est particulièrement gentille.
Nous avons pris la formule 2 jours avec 1 nuit sur une jonque 15 p. Nous étions 13 plus l équipage donc idéal. Les cabines sont très confortables, les repas très copieux et excellents. Notre guide Dui très bien, visites guidées très intéressantes. On recommande vivement cette agence de qualité, sérieuse et fiable
We stayed for a total of four nights. Three then, booked a Halong Bay Tour through the hotel. Returned to stay in the "Presidential Suite" for our last night in Vietnam before returning home to Bali.

THE STAFF!!!
Were amazing! Every single one from the guest service agent who changed booking dates for us as well as booked the Halong tour through... to the bell boy, property manager and even over night staff was all super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It seems like they really loved the hotel and being part of a team!
THE LOCATION!!
Walking distance to so many destinations in the Old Quarter! 25K Grab Ride to other major tourist destinations!
The not so awesome:
DECOR.
We were expecting a French Indochine feel to the property... The pictures don't match the hotel. They may have 15 years ago, but this property needs an upgrade big time.
ROOM CONDITION.
It felt more like a Motel 6 that needed a paint job. Our first room 2022 was very large, bathroom was spacious and nice. Ceiling had stains on it where water damage had happened.
"The Presidential Suite!" 1101. 1/2 the size of the first room with an odd shaped bathroom. Plus, it had a balcony and was quiet on the top floor.
SAFETY: none of the rooms we stayed in had a peep hole. This was an issue when I was out and someone was knocking on the door. Scared the wife a bit.
Overall- great stay, Wish the hotel was as great as the staff was!
Helt underbart ställe med mycket vänlig personal! Rent, fräscht, mycket smakfullt iinredning och riktigt fin frukost. Personalen var mycket uppmärksam och vänlig rakt igenom, lätt bästa stället vi bodde på i Vietnam. Ett extra tack till Huy i receptionen för vänligt bemötande. Endast 2 minuters promenad till fin och ren strand med egna solsängar för hotellets gäster. Liten mini market precis mittemot med vänligt bemötande även där. Vi bor definitivt här igen om vi kommer till Hanoi igen!
The A/C wasn’t working properly, the room got very humid and damp. I wasn’t aware the room didn’t have normal windows. According to the picture it showed normal windows, upon arrival the room had very small high window which made the room feel clastophobic.

We have had a fantastic 5 night stay at this beautiful hotel. and all the amazing staff that works at this fine establishment! And a big thank you to Kevin from the moment of me checking in to the moment checking out you have made this nothing but at outstanding experience and arranged our 18-days route ( Sapa , Ninh Binh , Hue , Hoi An , Nha Trang , Mekong Delta) that includes places, hotels, domestic flights, train, boating, meals in good restaurants on the menu that suits us, we were not disappointed everything was according to plan everything was pre-ordered and waited for us. We enjoyed it very much. The guides who flowed with us at our request, the polite drivers who helped us with the equipment, and the vehicles were excellent.
I booked a room with city view. At check in, they gave me a family room and said it was bigger which I didn’t need as a solo traveler. My room did not have city view but looked into another building and a narrow alley. The sheets reeked of perfume in a not subtle way. Wonder why. Website says the rooms are soundproofed. Until midnight, heard vendor megaphone announcements and starting at 5 am, the constant car horns. I checked out after one night. Worth not getting refund and booking another place to get clean sheets and sleep.
Superlage des Hotels.
Es liegt ein wenig abseits, ist darum schön ruhig, trotzdem ist man schnell im Zentrum, wo viele Restaurants vorhanden sind..
Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten und sauber. Das Bett war rießig und bequem.
Auch hier war das Personal wieder sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Au Co travels schafft es, die großen Touristen Massen in der Bucht größtenteils zu umgehen.
Wir waren zwei Tage mit unserem unterwegs, der sich lobenswert um uns gekümmert hat. Von ihm gab es auch viele interessante Infos zu vietnam und der bucht.
Wir sind begeistert vom Au Co Art Classic ! Mit einem Willkommen-Ritual (Erfrischungstuch, Getränk und Gebäck) und ausführlicher persönlicher Beschreibung der Hotelservices,
Unser Zimmer in der obersten Etage mit Balkon und freier Sicht über Hanoi gaben wir nicht mehr her! Neben dem sehr geschmackvoll und vollständig ausgestatteten Zimmer und großartigem Service in allen Bereichen wurde uns jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und enthielt für jeden Geschmack etwas. Es war einfach lecker.
The hotel was a 5-minute stroll away from the lake, an abundance of restaurants and coffee shop.
The staff there were absolutely superb with kids. We travelled with 3 kids, 4 years old and under. Everyone from the concierge, reception staff, and breakfast crew was so welcoming, taking the time to chat to the kids and entertaining them. Breakfast time tends to be a bit edgy with 3 kids, but the baby was always whisked away by one of the ladies and entertained nearby while we got a chance to enjoy our meal with the other two.
The breakfast selection was plenty to choose from, for adults, kids as well as babies. We booked a daytrip to Hoa lu - Tam coc and overnight trip to halong bay through the hotel, and the trip they'd organised was super
As fotos não refletem a realidade do hotel. Ele foi modernizado mas nem todos os quartos são adequados. São muito claros pela manhã e alguns ruidosos. Um dos que ficamos não tinha janela. A cama é a roupa de cama são boas, assim como o atendimento. O melhor é o café da manhã, farto com menu à la carte de boa comida vietnamita. A localização também é ótima.

Priced above market value. Most of the pictures belong to the Spa next door, not the hotel itself. Breakfast is next door as well. Otherwise in a walking street right in the middle of the Old Quarters, which has a lot of charm. Staff very helpful.

From the moment you arrive at Au Co Art Classic hotel and Spa you feel special. The hotel is stunning, rooms very spacious (highly recommend to take the cathedral view upgrade) The hotel is maintained impeccably, everywhere you look is impressive.
The staff make your stay, I must thank and compliment Huy and Kevin at reception for welcoming us to the hotel and offering tips for our stay in Hanoi (& the Ginger tea is delicious!) Our favourites Trang , Jenny.. to name a few.... always met you with a smile and made an effort to say hi and are all a real credit to the hotel. The staff make an effort to speak English and do it very well.
The cooking class was great fun, delicious and I look forward to trying the recipes at home!!
It was Our first time we visited Hanoi and the stunning Au Co Art classic and Spa, as we were in Vietnam to celebrate a significant birthday which happens later in the year!
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the wonderful Hao who drove us to hotel.
The hotel is just gorgeous and is a must visit when in Hanoi.
Each morning we were welcomed into restaurant for a beautiful breakfast,
Attentive staff were always on call just to mention a few Huy, Chinh and the wonderful Kevin
The Spa was also great where you can get many treatments and The staff again were wonderful, our thanks to the lady on reception who greeted us and arranged our package tour (Halong, Ninh binh , Golden Bridge and Hoi An )
Hotel is located in the middle of a dark alleyway. The pictures online definitely do not reflect the actual rooms or the front desk/lobby area. There is no rooftop deck. The rooms are musty and very humid to the point where all our clothes became damp within a few hours. The AC was also not working properly which contributed to the humidity.
Furthermore, you can definitely hear all the sounds from the streets and even the bathroom shower from the room above (it sounds like it is flooding). The hotel is very falsely advertised and our room definitely did not match the pictures. Bathroom door had an opening portion and was see through. We had to leave our booking after 1 night. The room door numbers are labeled with paper taped on. This is definitely not a 4 star boutique hotel as advertised. Stay away.
It was very central to the city centre the staff were helpful and it was very clean and the rooms were quiet away from the noise of the street. Booking the taxi from the airport wasn’t great from the hotel no one turned up and when I called they wasn’t very helpful and it wasn’t the cheapest fare. On the whole it is a nice base to see Hanoi.

Great breakfast, terrible room smell, very super small room. The pictures of the hotel in Expedia is very misleading!
