I found my own way here after discovering there are apparently 6 Aragon hotels in the street, so make sure you know the street number.
It was easy to get to the street by bus from the airport by taking Route 109 from the exit of the airport, costing 20,000 dong or $1US. This first trip gave me an elevated view along the route. Print off a bus route map and the bus attendant will tell you when to alight.
Just had a good breakfast in a very clean dining room with pleasant, attentive staff.
My room is freshly painted, clean, and well appointed.
Chambre spacieuse et propre, avec 2 salles de bain.
Parfaitement insonorisée. Hôtel très bien situé.
La piscine et le jacuzzi sur le toit sont très appréciables.
Petit déjeuner proposé avec beaucoup de choix.

Alagon is a great hotel in the heart of District 1 / Ho Chi Minh City. no matter which one of the 3 versions of the hotel you stay in you will be satisfied. Short walk to the central market and tons of places to eat/sight see. and a short cab ride to anything else. The Staff is great and very helpful. Especially Long at the rooftop bar. He is an amazing employee/host who went out of his way to suggest places for us to see and give us a general understanding of this wonderful bustling city. he even took time to give us some personal insight on other districts and out of the way things we were interested in. the spa facilities and massages are top notch. a great home base while in Ho Chi Minh. so good we decided to come back for one more night before flying out of Ho Chi Minh airport. Can't recommend it enough. clean, comfortable and relaxing in the midst of a very lively city. well worth the price.
Lovely hotel, staff, facilities, food and situation.

Det var ett rent hotell i city. Schysst takbar med pool. Ska man klaga på nånting så var våra fönster med "utsikt" riktade in mot hotellets korridor men dom hade man ändå fördragna. Gå till takbar eller någon annan rooftop bar för utsikt, det finns en hel del.

The property looks new, but interior inside looked dated. Air conditioner was in a corner and didn’t not sufficiently cooled the room. Phone did not work, and maintainace came and said “it’s broken.” No attempts to fix it. I walked to reception to ask for a bag to put in our laundry, but was told that I would be billed for it...for a plastic bag!!
During breakfast, I asked for condense milk for coffee. Every hotel from Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, and Hoi An I’ve been to in the last 3 weeks got us condense milk...even a boat in Halong Bay had condense milk! some went in the back to get it. I was told that the option was skim milk, the hotel would not get us condense milk...even though on of the staff said there was some in the back. Really odd, and service was indeed lacking.
The restaurant staff are very courtioud but the reception during check out is rude

Habíamos reservado una habitación sin ventana, pero al llegar nos dijeron que no estaba disponible y que nos daban una mejor. Estaba justo encima de las letras de la fachada y no entraba ruido de la calle. La habitación era espaciosa y estaba limpia. El aire acondicionado funcionaba perfectamente. El desayuno es variado, sobre todo hay muchas opciones de salado. El personal atento y amable en todo momento. Una buena elección en el distrito 1.No dejéis de disfrutar de la piscina en la última planta. Estuvimos por la tarde, ya de noche, y el ambiente es perfecto para relajarse después de un día de turismo.
Overall good stay in HCM. Will come back again next time.

Booked for Alagon Saigon Hotel but was given Alagon City Hotel instead. I wasnt aware of that until i was given a hotel room with 2 queen bed for the 2 of us. hmmm. After awile, i just realised that there are 3 hotels combined in the same building (i.e. Alagon Saigon Hotel, Alagon City Hotel & Alagon Boutique Hotel) with different lifts accessing different hotels, and i got the Alagon City Hotel which is run down compared to the other 2 hotels. I booked 2 hotel rooms for me and 2 of my friends and both of us got a room with 2 queen bed instead of executive king that we booked.
Piece of advice, if you book for Alagon Saigon Hotel, pls make sure that you are given the Alagon Saigon Hotel and not the Alagon City Hotel which is quite old and run down. Hope this helps.
(Sorry that i didnt take any photos because there is nothing worth to show for my room)
There are better options in HCMC, unless you want a room with 2 bathrooms and a little window...

We stayed at Alagon Antique Hotel (there are various Alagon hotels clustered together) and it was excellent. Great breakfast buffet. Afternoon tea was an unexpected treat. Nice roof top lounge and pool with very helpful staff (thank you Vince for your service!).

Cet hôtel offre un bon compromis pour un prix très correct.
La chambre n'avait pas de fenêtre mais cela était clairement indiqué sur le descriptif initial. Cela ne m'a pas gêné.
Le breakfast est copieux, mais davantage dirigé vers les asiatiques que vers les occidentaux en terme de produits.
Service de l'hôtel très correcte et courtois.
Hotel near to restaurants and sightseeing. Hotel offers complimentary afternoon tea but as we were out sightseeing, we only used it one afternoon out of three. The spa facilities were very good.
