Housekeeping effort far from satisfactory, hv to remind them to clean room.
Even that was not done well n proper.
Very sad for such service, hope it is only an isolated situation.
Corridors are very small for such a hotel with this status.
But those are the front doors like Bell Boys and porters are helpful. Like Mr tak kwa on 15march 3.50pm.
Saw him helping guests to open locked bag etc. Thank you.

This is a great hotel, one of three all linked into 1, the rooms were excellent and the staff friendly and very keen to help if not a little bit strict in some things , hotel policy I suppose, the facilities are good and the breakfast superb with a great choice all freshly prepared, it’s in a fantastic location with everything within minutes walk, and 3 7-11 type stores within 100 meters and Starbucks 200 meters, great local for food, a street food place about 200 meters down on operator side of road, great value,

Be aware of the strictly enforced policy of not allowing couples who are not married to stay in the same room. My girlfriend came to visit me the night I arrived, and was turned away by the front desk. They then proceeded to inform me of the rules and stated, dishonestly, that all hotels in the area enforce such rules. To add to it, they kept answering phone calls while we were having this “conversation,” which was very unprofessional and quite rude. I found a new hotel the very next day! I supposed the hotel was quite pleased as I had already paid for 7 nights, but used only 1.
It should be mentioned that there was a disclaimer in the booking, stating stat they “may not” permit unmarried couple to stay together. As this is such a big factor when booking a room, it should have been made much more visible during the booking process, and be worded as an absolute condition. When I made the booking, my impression was that this clause wasn’t actually enforced
В самом центре, пешая доступность многих знаковых объектов. Хороший завтрак, ненавязчивый сервис. На крыше хорошая зона отдыха с лежаками, бассейном, бесплатными полотенцами. Там же есть бар и небольшой фитнес центр. Номер уютный, в ванной комнате стоит добавить освещения.
Schönes Hotel in sehr guter Lage, sehr großes Frühstücksbuffet und saubere Zimmer. Nette kleine Bar im Rooftop - da ist auch der Pool zu finden (der gern einmal öfter von Blättern befreit werden könnte). Wir würden hierher auf jeden Fall wieder einchecken.
Het hotel was heel goed. Dat ik door expedia niet op de hoogte was gesteld van de visum plicht voor Vietnam vond ik zeer slecht.

Due to an incident that happened in this hotel a few months ago they have made it VERY difficult and stringent for allowing guests and overnight guests. This was very annoying to me and was the resulted in me not extending my stay at this hotel.
One evening when I took a shower, the water was VERY hot and was not able to be adjusted to a bearable temperature. The water coming from the toilet spray nozzle was also scolding hot. It was one of the weirdest occurrences of any hotel experience I have ever had.
The gym was very minimal.
The buffet was pretty good.
Lage ist hervorragend und das Personal top, ebenso das Frühstück. Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich gross.
Poolanlage auf dem Dach ist toll, nur die Qualität der Liegen ist bescheiden und die Polster sind immer nass.

Nice and easy Hotel. The pool area was beautiful and good for sun bathing. Also you can order food and drinks there.
Sadly the jacuzzi was under some kind of fixing process so couldn’t test that. Steam sauna wasn’t too good, but the showering facilities were good at the pool area.
Perfect breakfast with Asian and European choices.
Hotel is in a convenient location. Good size room for two person stay.

Overall is a in average level. Every morning around 6:00 during my stay, I heard people taking shower next to my room. Staffs are a bit lazy, I sought for assistance to hire taxi but they didn’t help me fully. Once the taxi stopped, their staffs left. Since the driver could only speak Vietnamese, we may misunderstand each other. Last, the toilet is very bad, flushing system almost didn’t work. You have to flush it manually.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits à Alagon Saigon en chambre double king size.
Points positifs :
Hôtel bien situé dans un quartier animé et on peut tout faire à pied (le marché de Ben Thanh à 5mins, le quartier de Bui Vien à 10mins, la Cathédrale et la Poste Centrale à 15mins).
Belle chambre, propre et bien décorée avec 2 sdbs (quel luxe !)
Points négatifs :
La disposition de l'accueil n'est pas des plus accueillantes. Le personnel à l'accueil avait le nez plongé sur leur écran d'ordinateur et nous avions l'impression de déranger quand nous sommes arrivés pour le check-in. Un peu plus de sourire serait définitivement un plus !
Notre chambre manque d'insonorisation et il faudrait mettre des rideaux occultants aux fenêtres (impossible de faire la grasse mat, trop de bruits dans le couloir et à cause des travaux à proximité, et trop de lumière, dès 7h du mat !).
Le café au PDJ n'est pas bo
Nous avons passé un séjour plutôt satisfaisant dans cet hôtel, mais il n'est pas certain que nous t retournons
sorry i was cheated by expedia by showing a good room n then supplied me a box room and had to upgrade to a bigger room and the men staff were so impolite over charged me extra 35 dollars/night i was caught in the trap by the hotel ps next time no how can u refund me this charge or compensate my loss ps advise I have the bill also. thank u Sunil Bellani Mob no +66 81 8342826..

Our stay at the Alagon Hotel was good. Big, comfortable rooms.
The bathroom was big but you couldn't take a shower as this was set in a corner of a triangular bathtub.
The afternoon tea is included and is very good.
Staff very kind and helpful.

Hotelli hyvällä paikalla, välillä ”hienomman” alueen ja rennomman. Katolla kivasti tekemistä, huoneessa ikkuna joka ei hurjasti päästänyt melua läpi. Palvelu vaihtelevaa. Joskus todella hyvää ja toisinaan tylyä. Iltapäivätee pitää sitten erikseen varata, ei kuulu hintaan. Vähän kulahtanut huone. Vähän jäi olo, että rahat meille ja yritä nyt sit jo lähteä.

The hotel itself got 2 buildings. We booked 2 rooms and my parents needed to stay in other building. Breakfast cannot be together but as we travelled with family, the staff agreed to allow us breakfast in same building. Troublesome..

Very friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. As a woman traveling alone, i felt very safe and cared for. The location is amazing within walking distance to Ben Thanh Market and historical points of interest (cathedral, post office, Independence Palace). The breakfast buffet is incredible and is more like a feast with two restaurants to choose from (Western and Asian) and made to order food. I also enjoyed the rooftop bar. Would definitely come back!
