Chỗ nghỉ tuyệt vời ở hà nội. Khách sạn có thiết kế và cơ sở vật chất hoàn hảo. Từ sảnh, phòng nghỉ, nhà hàng hay sky bar. Bể bơi vô cực nằm trên tầng 7 lộng lẫy sang chảnh. Vị trí khách sạn rất phù hợp vì vỉa hè rộng rãi đi bộ vào phố cổ cũng vài phút, còn đi bộ ra khu hoàng thành hay lăng Bác đều rất gần. Dọc đường toàn các đại sứ quán và công viên tượng đài với kiến trúc đẹp mắt.
Tôi rất hài lòng và sẽ trở lại lần sau.
Gorgeous hotel on a green and peaceful street. A rare find in Hanoi where I can literally walk on the pavement. Beautifully designed rooms with great views. I love the restaurant and sky bar. Will be back!

Centrally located in old town Hanoi, helpful staff and we were upgraded to a bigger room. The room we had was not over the Main Street and you could not hear any noise from the street in the room. Spa treatment good and reasonable price. Included afternoon tea a nice touch and breakfast had good variety.
Excellent location and exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend!

Good spot to stay. The staff in the restaurant were top notch. The room was ok, comfortable enough without being excellent. Would stay here again and recommend it to others

Well placed in the middle of old town. An oasis of quiet in the middle of motorbike chaos. Great fun. Street outside closed off on Friday Saturday and Sunday for Pavement restaurants, street food and stalls. Highly recommend.

4.0 "Great stay at new hotel — Peridot Grand "
We got upgraded to their newly opened hotel - Peridot Grand — which happened to be opened on the same day we arrived. The new hotel was situated on a quieter street and was great for light-sleepers like us. Even though the hotel was new and sorting out some minor issues (for e.g. no airconditioning in the room when we first arrived, hair dryer was tedious to use), the staff was hospitable and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable.
Great place to stay. In the middle of it all in Hanoi but quiet and an oasis amongst the chaos. Super attentive staff, particularly Maggie, helped a lot!

이 호텔의 가장 좋은점은 역시 위치 입니다. 바로 맥주거리에 위치하고 있어서 언제든 즐길 수 있습니다. 또 바로 옆에 편의점이 있습니다. 또한 호텔직원분들 너무 친절합니다. 캐리어가 고장나서 걱정하고 있는데 호텔직원분이 고쳐주셨습니다. 아침조식, 청결도 매우 만족합니다. 다음에 하노이에 또 놀러가면 이곳에 머무를 생각입니다.

We accidentally put the wrong date on our reservation and called Expedia immediately the cancel the reservation and essence denied the cancelation with 27 other people looking at the reservation they could have rebooked but they weren’t very helpful. We are staying there later on so maybe we will change our mind but right now I would give them a 0 is customer service

The stay at Essence was great. Very prime location and good service fr staff. The only issue is the difficulty of navigating around the hotel vicinity during the Fri to Sun due to the no car zone and drinking activities around the area. Stayed in their suite. Slightly bigger than most rooms in Vietnam. Breakfast at hotel was not fabulous but acceptable as there were a lot of good food juz around the corner. Staff at the hotel spoke english well and was very helpful.
Fantastic location right in the heart of the old town. No issues with noise. Comfortable room. Excellent service. Mia checked us in intially and continued to help us throughout our stay booking tables and tours as required.
Recently traveled with a friend to Hanoi and we enjoyed our stay here. It is right across from Ta Hien aka Beer Street and really close to Hoan Kiem Lake. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Also, when we checked in, the front desk was very helpful, especially Mia, who gave us recommendations on where to go. We wanted to eat at places where locals go and she told us exactly where. Very helpful.

1.0 "Backward step of quality in Essence Hanoi Hotel "
I have been working in Vietnam for 6years.
So I visited Hanoi for business trip or taking rest many times. When I wanted to stay boutique hotel, I am used to book “Essence Hanoi hotel & spa”. Total 5~6 times I stayed.
(usually I stayed Lotte or JW Marriott)
My first impression was very nice 6 years ago. But as time goes by, Service skill is changed.
1. Welcome fruits is disappeared. (Staff said my room type was not included service. How much fruits in Vietnam...? Too cheap!!!)
2. They controlled only pillow cover. It has too much bad smell. Please take a wash all pillow cushion.
3. Food was so so. Please check plastic wrap in food.
4. About coffee!!! (It was very good, but changed quality...)
5. Check in procedure (skipping explanation of hotel information - Wifi password, front desk telephone number... basic information)
6. No feedback about Complaint!!!
- I found Manager in 11:40am for checkout. But there was not in hotel. I told my experience to receptionist. She asked my telephone number, but not any feedback from this hotel.
Why did you ask my telephone number?
This hotel fee is not cheap. Hotel service is not cash cow. Please keep quality.

Arrived at the hotel with extra charges although I have stated earlier in my booking that I required twin room for 2 pax. The staff informed that I will need to pay extra for another pax as the price I paid for was covered for only 1 pax. Disappointing to hear that during check in even though the hotel could have informed me earlier.
Other than that, the hotel is decent and located at old quarter which is very convenient as it is located right at the night market street.
This hotel is in a perfect location, has a lovely style and most of all the staff are incredibly helpful. Kate who welcomed us gave her phone number on check in and we contacted her by what's app (even after we had checked out) and she was so responsive and helpful each time. 1st class service.

Small nice hotel in the middle of everything. Bustling life just outside the door, but quiet inside. Nice room and staff are very helpful, breakfast great and afternoon tea is an added benefit. Will go back.
