Although the room in this hotel was great, the average rating was due to the staff's lack of control and enforcement of basic common sense rules of a hotel. They had several tours staying at the hotel, and the tour members were running amok. The noise they were making was unbearable. When we first entered the lobby there was a member of the group with a bullhorn singing and carrying on. This continued on the various floor in the night, and very early morning with no consideration of other guests and without any intervention of the staff. Random people were knocking on doors, including our early in the morning.
The neighborhood is quiet, but not near the beach. It is a short 15 minute walk to nearby restaurants. The breakfast, as mentioned in other reviews is seriously lacking.
Room was decent size, comfortable and well equipped. WiFi worked well. I was a little surprised to arrive and discover my room was internal facing (only had windows to a small internal vent) - not sure if I didn't read the room description sufficiently but I was expecting windows that looked outside of the building. The breakfast included was adequate.

I have enjoyed staying at this SeaStar hotel. (Single word SeaStar). Great for families. I like the beds and room service. Buffet breakfast is amazing and has so many varieties. One thing we did not knew until last moment that hotel restaurant can make lunch and dinners on preorders and much cheaper compared to other nearby fancy restaurants. Worth to visit again.
