Nguyen Trung Truc Temple Festival

Time: From the 18th to the 19th day of the tenth lunar month. Place: Nguyen Trung Truc Temple, Long Kien Commune, Cho Moi District, An Giang Province. Objects of worship: Nguyen Trung Truc, the leader of an insurrection who rose up against the French in the South. Characteristic: Incense-offering ceremony, recalling sacrifices-offering ceremony, re-performance of the battle of destroying a French warships on the Nhat Tao River in the 19th century. The festival involves boat rowing, Chinese chess and other fun games.

 
Long Phu Communal House Festival

Time: 7th of the first lunar month. Place: Long Phu Commune, Tan Chau District, An Giang Province. Objects of worship: The village's tutelary god. Characteristic: Beginning of summer ceremony, pray for good crops.

Dolta Ceremony and Ox Racing Festival

Time: From the 29th day of the eighth lunar month to the 1st day of the ninth lunar month (or to the 2nd  day of the ninth lunar month in case of the eighth lunar month without the 30th day). Place: In pagodas, or at each household of the Khmer people in Tri Ton or Tinh Bien District, An Giang Province. Objects of worship: In remembrance of ancestral merits and wishing happiness and peace for the deceased’s souls. Characteristic: Ox racing according to traditional ritual of the Khmer people.  

 
Chau Phu Communal House Festival

Time: From the 9th to the 11th day of the fifth lunar month. Place: Chau Phu A Ward, Chau Doc Town, An Giang Province. Objects of worship: Nguyen Huu Canh (the nephew of Nguyen Trai). Characteristic: Incense offering, ky yen ceremony and boi singing at night.  

 
Bao Sanh Temple Festival

Time: the 15th day of the first lunar month. Place: Long Son Commune, Phu Tan District, An Giang Province. Objects of worship: Lao Gia, Chinese old famous physician. Characteristic: Pray for propitious things. 

 
Bang Lang Shrine Festival

Time: 15th to the 16th day of the third lunar month. Place: Phu Lam Commune, Phu Tan District, An Giang Province. Objects of worship: Lady Thuong Dong Co Hy. Characteristic: Offering ceremony, bôi singing.  

 
Ba Chua Xu Temple Festival

Time: From the 23rd to the 27th day of the fourth lunar month, main festival day is on the 25th of the fourth lunar month. Place: Ba Chua Temple at Sam Mountain, Chau Doc, An Giang Province. Objects of worship: Ba Chua Xu (local goddess). Characteristic: 5 strict and solemn rites.  

 
Thac Con long for peace Festival

Time: The middle of the third lunar month. Place: My Tu District, Soc Trang Province. Characteristic: Cau an (long for peace) ceremony of the Khmer and entertainment.

 
Ooc-om-bok Festival
Ooc-om-bok Festival

Time: In the evening of the 14th day and the 15th day of the tenth lunar month. Place: In the yards of the pagodas or of the residents' houses, ngo boat race in the Maspero River (Soc Trang Town). Objects of worship: Moon deity. Characteristic: Moon worshipping ceremony, floating lights on the water, ngo boat race. Participators: The Khmer people in the South, the Hoa and the Viet people. 

 
Tam Son Pagoda Festival

Time: 8th to the 12th day of the first lunar month. Place: Tam Son Commune, Tu Son District, Bac Ninh Province. Objects of worship: Buddha, first doctoral candidate Nguyen Phan Quang, Loyal Royal Highest Nguyen Tu Cuong, doctors of the village, Princess Thuan Duong, God of the soil, Quan Cong. Characteristics: Water puppetry show, boi chess (wood chess), cock fighting, smash pots (rice husk, and water in the pot), quan ho singing contest.
