Location: The An Giang Museum is situated on Thoai Ngoc Hau Street, My Long Ward, Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province. Characteristics: In the large courtyard, various ornamental plants and particularly red jasmine trees in full bloom welcome visitors with mildly refreshing fragrances.  

Location: Institute of Oceanography is located on an elevated land, at 1 Cau Da St., next to Cau Da Wharf, about 6km from the centre of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province. Characteristic: Institute of Oceanography, which was established in 1923, was one of the first centres for scientific research in Vietnam. 

Location: Khanh Hoa Provincial Museum is situated at 16 Tran Phu St., Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province. Characteristic: It preserves approximately 10,000 objects, more than 5,000 documents and pictures which are belong to the different periods of history.  

Location: Alexandre Yersin Memorial Sites includes 3 places: -  Doctor Yersin’s library in Nha Trang Pasteur Institute, Khanh Hoa Province. - Linh Son Pagoda, Suoi Cat Commune, Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Province (the former workroom of the doctor in Suoi Dau). - Alexandre Yersin’s Grave in Suoi Cat Commune, Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Province. Characteristic: Alexandre Yersin Memorial Sites was built to commemorate Alexandre Yersin who devoted 50 years of his life to work in Pasteur Institute.

Location: Son La Provincial Museum is located in the centre of Son La Town, 328km from Hanoi. Characteristics: The Son La Provincial Museum was originally a penitentiary built by the French in 1908; thousands of Vietnamese patriots were imprisoned here.  

Location: The Lam Dong Province Museum is located on the top of a hill at 4 Hung Vuong St., Dalat City, Lam Dong Province; about 1km from the Central Market. Characteristic: Here, there are local historical and traditional displays, including archaeological and ethnological artifacts. 

Location: In Binh Thanh Commune, Tay Son District, 45km from Qui Nhon City, and 5km off the highway. Characteristic: This museum is dedicated to Nguyen Hue (Quang Trung), a national hero of the 18th century. 

Location: Located in centre of Thai Nguyen City. Characteristics: The museum is a repository depicting the culture of ethnic groups living throughout the Vietnam. 

Location: About 1km from Buon Ma Thuot six-road junction, Dak Lak Province. Characteristics: The monument shows the local people’s gratitude to revolutionaries who sacrificed for national independence and who live forever in the people’s hearts.  

Location: Dak Lak Ethnology Museum is situated at 182 Nguyen Du Street, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province. Characteristics: This two-storey building displays pictures and historical, cultural artifacts of the people’s life in Dak Lak.
