Vietnamese cultural days in Russia scheduled for Sept

Vietnamese Cultural Days in Russia will be organised from September 13-20 in Moscow and St Petersburg with various activities, ranging from exhibitions to movie shows, and culinary festivals.
Around 50 Vietnamese artists, led by People’s Artist Le Ngoc Cuong, will go to Russia on this occasion.
The event will begin on September 13 at Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, a familiar and famous address of European artists, which can host 2,000 people, reported the Russian Embassy in Vietnam.
On the same days, exhibitions about Vietnam will open at the National Modern History Museum while some Vietnamese movies will be introduced at Ilyuzion cinema.
During the Vietnamese Cultural Days, Russian audiences will have opportunities to enjoy Vietnamese traditional and folk songs and music, chamber music, modern music, fashion shows, etc. Some meetings between Vietnamese and Russian artists and audiences will be held.
Violinist Bui Cong Duy, pianist Vu Ngoc Linh, triplets Ngo Van Thanh – Tran Thu Ha – Tran Thi Mo, and singers bich Thuy and Quoc Hung have been chosen to perform chamber music works. Candidates for modern music shows are pop singers Ngoc Anh, Phuong Linh, and Luu Huong Giang.
Once again, Vietnamese ao dai will be brought to Russia, along with traditional costumes of 20 of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
Vietnamese artists will give five shows in Moscow and St Petersburg. The Vietnamese Cultural Days will close at St Petersburg on September 20.
The Vietnamese Cultural Week and Russian Cultural Week are held every two years in the two countries.
