Ten days to travel in four Asian countries

Ten days to travel in four Asian countries

HCMC-based Ben Thanh Tourist tour operator is promoting a 10-day and 9-night tour by overland and air travel to the four Asian countries of Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia this summer season.

The tour starting in HCMC will include Vinh City in the central of Vietnam, Vientiane of Laos, Bangkok and Pattaya of Thailand and Siem Reap and Phnom Penh of Cambodia.

Departing by plane from HCMC, the tour will visit attractions in late president Ho Chi Minh’s homeland, relax overnight at Cua Lo beach in Nghe An province, and then travel overland to Laos.

A day will be spent visiting attractions in the capital city before leaving Laos for Thailand via the first Friendship Bridge that linked the two countries, cross the Mekong River.

In Thailand, tourists will visit Bangkok and Pattaya while in Cambodia, tourists will explore the attractions in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh such as Angkor Wat, Baray lake, Kompongkdey bridge, and Watphom Pagoda.

From Phnom Penh, tourists will return to HCMC by bus via the Moc Bai border gate in the Southern province of Tay Ninh.

The tour costs US$690 per guest for groups of 10 to 12 visitors. For larger groups of 36-45 passengers the rate drops to US$490 per guest.

“We can promote the tour with a lower rate thanks to discounts from airlines, hotels, and visa exemptions between Vietnam and Cambodia,” Cao Ngoc Minh, Public Relation executive of the company said.

Minh said Ben Thanh Tourist is now able to arrange more tours since Ben Thanh Tourist buses now have permission to take tourists along the routes between these countries.

“We used to have to change buses in each country before because of regulations but these have changed and now travel is faster and easier” Minh said.

To date two groups of around 70 tourists have traveled on the route, and the company has received new bookings for the tours, most of which are group booking.

For further information about the tour, contact Ben Thanh Tourist’s Travel Service Center at: 89 A Ham Nghi street, district 1, HCMC, tel: 08 3 821 8989, fax: 08 3 821 8340, email: phinhung@benthanhtourist.com, website: www.benthanhtourist.com.vn.
