Vietnamese rice paper rolls at SQUARE ONE

From 7th to 21st June 2008, enjoy the delicate flavours of Vietnamese rice paper rolls at Square One restaurant, located on the mezzanine floor of Park Hyatt Saigon.
Made from white rice and tapioca flours, rice paper is widely used in Vietnamese cuisine for making fresh and fried spring rolls, as well as for many other creative adaptations of original recipes. Rolls made with rice paper are quite versatile and can be stuffed with many different ingredients and served with an extensive range of sauces.
Chef Satoru Takeuchi and his culinary team will prepare a variety of chilled and warm rice paper rolls, using only the freshest ingredients. The menu includes classic and creative combinations such as shrimp, bean sprouts and mint; marinated pork loin and pickled shrimp with basil; steamed squid, scallops and tiger prawn; fried black mushrooms and seafood served with chilli fish sauce; grilled black garoupa with lemongrass, green pepper and fresh herbs; and catfish in turmeric leaf wrap served with sour sauce. Healthy, fresh and delicious, these rolls will please your palate!
